Epic Battle Rules & Conduct
First of all, if youre not a Ranking General or Staff Member; then youre not able to create Epic Threads, so if you was looking to create one and you dont meet that simple rule, then read no further. As for those meeting the General rank or Staff member criteria and wish to make an Epic Battle, read the following simple steps on what you must include and how to set one up properly.
* First thing you must include into your Epic Battle thread, is a suitable title and obviously, a REAL epic battle to undertake. So make sure youve done your research before hand.
* Secondly, any-side can win the battle. For Example, the Allied made a successful D-Day landing and invasion into Normandy/France - what if they didnt? So remember, these are real battles once fought, but this board is partially fiction based and to give you the leeway and freedom, epic battles could be won either way.
* Thirdly, when starting your Epic Battle, you must include into your first post the Scenery and simple things like conditions. Will it be raining? Is it snowing? The more information you provide about the battle, the better the members will be able to RP beneath your epic battle thread.
* Also, if youre a General starting this epic battle thread, you do have the Authority to ask certain members beneath your division (UK/US/AXIS) to join the battle, so long as you give the orders to carry out (such as, defend such and such points --- etc).
If youre a Staff Member starting this, you may only request members to join, or leave it open for members to join.
* Epic Battle Threads will be monitored by Staff members and Staff members will make the deciding choices on the damage done by either side. Any Staff members found to be biased, will be warned or removed from monitoring the thread, everything is justified by the writing style and tactics made by the users.
* Staff members also have the authority to decide the outcome of certain actions made by users, obviously, neither side will want to take the damage willingly, so the staff will have to justify what damage is done - depending upon the scenario of the members writing and usage of tactics.
Everything may sound confusing, but honestly, its not.
Just remember, all threads are monitored by staff members and the staff team do have the authority to step in and throw a few twists into the RP, to what damage is done by you or your enemy. Thus, earning you wins or loses.
