(Alright I guess I can start, if not then oh well I'll do it over)
Behind the tree line Daniel saw the officers and non-com's he had around him, and realized the Col. Winters was there, so if he screwed up either the whole division would know or there would be an new CO.
In a low voice he conversed with his leaders: " I only need Grudier (closest to Daniel on his right) to help me with the charges, the rest of the platoon is yours. Feury, you can take the other 8 men we have here. Boyd can take the 6 men on the other side of this hedge. Stewart can take the 6 men we have on the other hedge on to the right. McDiffet can take the 8 men on the other tree line furthest away. And Winters can take the remaining 3 on the other tree line. There are my men, so treat them with respect, and don't get them killed."
"it's dark out, snowing, and cold, so it will be harder to see us. The men at the hedges will be our base of fire, and covering fire when we go in and come out, so I'm relying on you Boyd and Stewart. McDiffet will go for the scientists by entering through the front entrance, and Feury will also enter through the front, but secure the Turbines. Winters and I will enter from the side door on the left while I place the charges, I will trust Winters to provide protection."
"But that guard in the guardpost will have to be taken out silently, so one man in Feury's group will have to do it. once that is done organize silently and stay out of sight from the two guards neer the side entrance. And remember to stay hidden until we get inside, and once we do get spotted, hit em all so hard that they don't know what hit them."
"If there are any objections before we go through with this say so now.

Winters watched through the window of the cargo plane as it rumbled down the runway. It made a sharp turn, then roared it engines, and started on the run down the runway. Just as the runway end neared, the plane slowly and smoothly lifted from the runway. They were off, headed to take a water plant located in the high mountains of Germany.
Winters watched out the window, as all the blue ocean water flew on by. It was endless he thought. Until what felt like hours, they had finally, come to the shore line. The terrain finally got some looks to it. It began to rise into high rock cliffs, and mountains covered with dense forests. Winters looked over as one of the men lit up a Cigarette. Winters himself eager for one, although forgetting his in the barracks, leaned over and shouted. "You wouldn't happen to have another one of those private would ya?" The private replied "Yes Sir lemme get ya one." The young, and nervous Private, stretched across the isle way and handed the cigarette, to Winters. Winters nodded, thanks to him. The private shouted " Sir need a light!" Winters, shouted back " nice call thanks again private."
Winters ran up into the thingypit, and asked them how much longer till a red light. The pilot told him that their ETA to red light was 10 minutes. Winters nodded and returned to his seat. Red light just meant that they could begin preparing their gear and prepare for the jump. Those 10 minutes went by so quick thought winters, as the red light flickered on. Winters stood up and walked to his position at the jump door.
He waved his hands and shouted "Everyone up!! Check your gear and the man in front of yous gear." The word went up the line "Good!" As each person patted the one in front of them on their back. When Winters received the word at the front. He shouted "Hook up!" Everyone reached up and hooked their lines to the cable. Then they waited for another minute or two the green light came on the the plane slowed. Winters shouted "Green Light GO GO GO!!" Each man began bailing out of the plane one by one. Until winters was the last man.
He took no more than a second to make sure the plane was clear, and jumped. It started off as a nice smooth free fall. Then came the jolt as his chute flung open. Then began the slow, and aggravating process of falling to the ground. Soon came the landing, he adjusted his legs, just how he was taught. Taking the landing almost perfectly. Thank god thought, winters as he noticed all the men were okay, and near silent waiting for his orders to make a move. He quickly got his gear, and moved into the tree line along with the other men.
Winters listened as Daniel discussed his plan with him and the other leaders. Winters thought that he had a pretty good plan and it should work well. He agreed and waited for the NCO's to input what they think.
OOC; Okay so now all other ALLIED should post, make it only about the plane ride and the landing. No shooting. These first few are neutral posts.

Feury was the last one out, before Winters of course. As he slowly floated through the thick, cold, snowing Mountian air of Germany. He smiled to himself, he hadent been in the cold air since the days with at his Grandparent's house in the high hills of Italy. As he landed on the ground, he let himself go limp so he wouldnt hurt himself. As his balance returned, he unhooked his parachute, and made sure all of his weapons were ok. He checked his feild pack quickly, making sure his Thompson was there, and his many other weapons. He looked around, and ducked his head down, just to make sure no one saw him, but his fellow men ofcourse. As he heard his CO, Winters, speaking with another one of his fellow soldier's, he steped over, and listened to Daniels plans. As Daniel finished, he said "Im ok with much of You're plan, but in my opinion, i believe i should take the Scientists, i'd probably screw it up attempting to take control of those turbines, and i can speak some German.". He watched the men standing around, many privates, and a few other ranking people.

Stuck on the borders of Germany was the last thing that he wanted. And in the middle of nowhere in an water plant. Great. Just perfect. Heydrich looked at the walls, he used to be in a place like this back in his home town. Stuck with chemicals and books. He sighed as he looked at the two men near him. He smiled, no. It was more like a grin. Heydrich requested a break from his early conquests to visit home maybe visit his old dying mother who now lived in an moderate class home in Berlin with two attendants. He knew she was going to go soon so might as well pay her one last visit. He never was really close to his mother it was an instinct that was making him care for her.
He and his platoon was on their way to Berlin when they were diverted when an anti-Nazi uprising happened in a nearby town where half of his platoon had to go. Heydrich and the rest was stationed at this plant until they return. He knew this was basically wasting their time but his men were like his pack of dogs now, he couldn't do without them. He could imagine what it was behind the walls of the plant. Dark and cold. The worst combination. Heydrich stepped into the room on the right to see men patrolling. He had added his own ranks to the guards for extra money. Well not for him, but for his platoon. They needed something extra anyway.
He looked at his gun on his back and took it out polishing the edges. He got this with his promotion to Scharführer. A friend who worked in the arms department gave him. Now it was like it was one of his limbs. Curiously he looked inside his gear to find his grenades, pistol under check which he smiled. A few of the men had equipment lost and stolen so he was always careful. He wondered if anything would happen to this place, would anyone come in? Could he die right now? He knew the answer was yes as he put his gun back and sat down on a chair nearby, resting his eyes for a moment.

(ahh, knew I'd screw something up, oh well)
Sitting by the doorway, it would be Daniel's 1st combat Jump. As he looked out the tiny window, so many thoughts raced through his mind. What if they were off target?, What if he was caught in a tree? But then he said to himself, pull it together, you have a platoon to lead, so focus on those turbines and scientists. To calm himself he remembered his very earliest childhood back in Korea, and almost the same sight of mountains, but this time he could see the peek.
Then Winters said to Daniel "open the door!"Daniel obeyed as the ice cold air burst into the plane. Winters went through with normal Jump procedure, but this time Daniel checked everything twice. He checked his chute, static cable, and harness to make sure he would be fine in the jump. Then he checked winter's gear, and then waited for the green light. it came so fast, and Winters shouted "Go, Go, Go!" No hesitation came, he simply jumped from a perfectly good airplane.
On the way back down to earth Daniel saw as the rest of the platoon came down beautifully with their snow camouflage parachutes. He then tried to servery the Building, but to no avail. he thought to himself "Good, i can't see them, but they can't see us."
Once he came to the ground rather smoothly, assembled his M1, he regrouped, and told the NCO's and Winters his plan. He also tweaked the plan by saying, "alright, Feury can take the scientists, and McDiffet can take the turbines. Feury can take out the guard in the checkpoint. I recommend to stab him in the throat, brutal I know, but he can't be allowed to raise the alarm. Feury will take his overcoat, and him and one other man will go with him acting as a prisoner until they get to the two guards on the side door, and at the same time stab those two in the throats, but don't miss."

"Will do." Feury said. He looked around at the many men, and took the time at hand to light a cigarette, and finish it off also. He looked up into the sky, watching the snow fall in an arratic movement, like it knew they were there, like it knew something was going to happen. He had never thought he would have to kill someone, and so brutally at that. He had joined the army before anyone had thought that war would come to the United States, but especially not after Pearl Harbor, heck, the Japanese that planned the whole thing probably didnt think it would work. To him, the Politicians thought this war was a like a game, were you had little wooden models representing a million people, and every thing you lost that little unit, you could replace it with a new one, they thought you could just keep replacing those units with more units, but no, they would eventually run out... To him, none of the politions, not Roosevelt, not Churchill, not Mussollini, not even old Bubblehead himself knew what it was like to be in a middle class, or even low class, family, they thought everyone had all the money in the world, and they could have whatever they wanted. They didnt even know what it was like to fight, none of them had been in a war, to his knowlage. He looked around, the horrors of war were finally getting to his fellow man, he could see it in Daniel's face, in Winters, in everyone's face there. He's never approved of war, who would, he thought. Feury went back to checking his feild pack, going through the items slowly. He had his Thompson, a Welrod Pistol, a knife, and a Grenade, with a smily face crudly painted on it, he knew that was the exact opposite of the reaction any german was going to have when they saw that. He clipped his grenade to the little, little, thing, he didnt know what it was called anymore, on his chest, and help his Welrod pistol. One of his British Commando friends had given it to him after they went on a mission to kill some General, he said that weapon killed the General, if that was so, it would be an honor to any German to die by a Weapon that killed you're superior officer. He looked around, and smiled at his warmth as he watched the Snow fall, he had dressed warmly, just incase it snowed.

Post by 1st SGT. James Boyd on Jul 2, 2009 19:09:34 GMT -5
1st Sergeant James Boyd sat tight in the interiour of the massive transport plane, listening to the sound of his own heart beating. You could have never guessed he was scared from his stony face as he took a crumpled pack of Lucky Strike ration ciggerettes out from his chest pocket. His brown eyes darted around the room as he lit his smoke and sucked in. All these men. So young. So fragile. All draftees, hoping for a bit of extra pay from the Airborne, never waying in the chance of death. Colonel Winters, James' old friend from highschool, sat across from him, not looking scared at all. Feury, an Italian that James had met at a pub was also there, sitting by the Colonel. The rest of the men in the plane James had never met, for he wasn't allowed to take any of his own men on the mission. The objectives were still fuzzy for the New Yorker, but something about a Nazi water plant and blowing up some turbines. All Boyd knew was that he would get to fill some Krauts with M1 Carbine bullets. Damned Jerry assholes. James looked out the frosted window on the tin hull of the plane that showed a pretty view of the dark Scandanavian lake: the Baltic Sea. Snow fell like peices of frozen smoke, dissapearing as they hit the salthingyer of the sea. The 1st Sergeant made sure all his equipment was in order, from his M1 Carbine, "Pineapple" Frag grenade hooked to his webbing, and his parachute and drop gear. The soldier's olive drab fatigues were barely visible under all the strips of white, brown, and black fabric pinned oddly around his body. He had even bleached an old helmet white and stuffed it's webbing with white strips. Although crude, James hoped the makeshift camo would help to somehow conceal him. Suddenly, the drop light went green and Colonel Winters told everyone to stand and prepare for the jump. James stood up and hooked his static line up, took a deep breath, and cast his ciggarette butt out into the freezing air whistling around the open jump door. The 1st Sergeant took a deep breath as men started to pour out and looked back to see only Feury and Winters behind him. Great, he thought, i'll look like a complete screwup infront of the two highest ranking soldiers on board. James' turn to jump came quicker than he thought. He was amazed at how much different a combat jump was than a practice one. The airborne soldier clamped his eyes shut and leapt from the plane, awaiting the feel of drop. That few seconds after you jump are the most exillerating moments of the entire flight. You just sail through the air, not a care in the world, as you await the unpleasent jolt of the winter camo parachute deploying in the frosty Norwegian wind. For James that particular evening the deploy seemed to come much to far before he would like it too. A sharp tang of pain went through his thighs and shoulders as the straps of his parapack were pulled taught. Then came the miserable flight down, looking at the ugly steel Nazi base. James touched down harshly, his parachute dragging his limp body across the ground. But James managed to remain safe as he ditched his chute and gathered up his gear for the trek to the rendevous point. As he arrived one of the NCOs was explaining the plan. Boyd was supposed to take the soldiers on the other side of a decorative hedge and give covering/supporting fire to the soldiers entering the base. James nodded and shifted his gloved grip on his rifle. He was a bit dissapointed about not getting to shoot up some Krauts in the base, but at least he would be in a pretty safe position. He would probably get bored, but at least he got to pop off a few rounds.

Heydrich woke up. He didn't even know what time it was. He looked to see the guards still having a conversation so he realized he just blanked out for a minute or two. He picked his gun back up and walked towards the small window, it was even too small to be one. More like a hole in the wall. It was at the back so it didn't do much good other than telling you if it was night or day. Whether it was sun or rain. He saw nothing but whiteness, the winds got stronger. Maybe it was just his imagination, he walked into the table that he had on the corner there, you could barely called it one.
A guard came to him and stood like a sentinel next to him. He grinned and ignored him, he was used to people trying to suck up to him. He checked his backup on the table one more time. Curiosity grabbed him and he opened the drawer on the bottom. A piece of rolled up paper. He opened it , laying it on the table after putting his pack on the floor. Above it read, 'Guard Patrol Movements and Positions.' He smiled as he looked at it, this place was pretty well protected. And who would be crazy enough to attack this place now right? But he knew pretty crazy thing scan happen in an heartbeat.
He swam through the map with his eyes. He turned to the incompetent fellow at his side, at least he thought he was. ''You! What is this?'' He was scared for a second their and replied. ''That...Tha...Is an outpost, a guard stays there.'' Heydrich thought about it, even though if he could not calculate the weather he knew it would be freaking cold outside. Even a private like him didn't deserve it. He turned around and faced the three men in the room. The two of his men talking and the private that popped up next to him and pointed and them. ''You all go out and call the man on the guard post. I don't care whether you give him some company or ask him to come here. I doubt anything is going to happen today.''

(OCC: sorry for my tardiness)
Daniel looked over and said "Quick change, Boyd, take McDiffet's men, and McDiffet take Boyd's men. Boyd will go for the Turbines." He also looked toward McDiffet and Stewart and said "hey you guys make sure you provide covering fire ok.?" With no reply he said let's get moving. With that he saw the NCO's crawl to their men making sure not to be seen, and he himself waited for Feury to select a man to be an assassin on the Guard in the guard box.

Just then one of the company radioman said "Daniel a call from Division." Hmmm he thought, now what? He received word that the scientists were elsewhere and that the company better clear out and let a squad from Able company call in artillery. But in the mean time to march to the nearby motor pool back in the Allied lines, and link up with the 1st armored. The company was to help them clear some godforsaken forest just so they could cover a flank for an armored spearhead. "I wonder what kind of skirmish we will see there" Daniel wondered.
OCC: I think I just closed it up, nobody including myself really deserves CP as nobody really did anything.
