I liked the Band of Brothers Mini series, Saving Private Ryan, and Enemy at the Gates. Enemy at the Gates is about the famous Russian Sniper Vassili Zietsev(it has numeral written ways to spell it) It tells how he became a sniper, but it mainly tells about the battle between Vassili and the even more skilled german SS sniper who soon gets killed by Vassili

Good. It's really hard to be dissappointed by such a well-made series.

Yeah I watched that movie. It was cool to see a WWI movie, but the style mimicks Saving Private Ryan too much.
Anyways number one war movie for me would be Band of Brothers. I love the series, but for historical accuracy there was some minor parts that were inaccurate as well as being unfaithful to the book which the mini-series was based on.
Saving Private Ryan is second and like Band of Brothers, has the same symptom with historical accuracy. The Thin Red Line, Hamburger Hill, When Trumpets Fade and Stalingrad (German WWII movie which is about a squad of Germans fighting in Stalingrad. Very realstic like Saving Private Ryan) come in next.
Last would be Enemy at the Gates. Although it was a good suspenseful action movie, half of it is made up.

Band of Brothers is great. I've still gotta watch the last few episodes. Its very surreal with all the music and such.

Personally my two favorites are *SHOCK* Band of Brothers (Hmm... wonder why...*cough*Nixon/Winters/Any-of-the-men-of-Easy-Company*cough*) (Sorry some teenage sickness coming through there) =) and Saints and Soldiers, despite the bad rep everyone gives it I found it a very good movie.
