WWII RPG Help Guide
Getting Started
Found this website..Think you want to give it a try. Well good for you, First thing you should do is post an application. The Forms can be found in the Applications category. Don't worry about making an account first. You can sign up for either the Axis, Allied or the Neutrals. Axis and Allies are armed fighting forces, while neutrals are like medics and doctors on the field. Neutral forces must too must choose between allied and axis too but the difference is they won't get the same starting equipment and will be skilled in healing. When you have chosen a path go ahead and take a look at the Ranks. Now click on the board and start a new thread.
An application form should have arrived and here you should fill in the appropriate information. If you need a reference of how a good profile looks you should check out the accepted profiles. You may also request a rank in the application but it is very rare to get an officer rank at the start. You have to wait for a while for a Administrator to check your application and accept it. When done you should register the account with the username you used in your application. Well, you done the basics and you can get really started.
The Basics
You are now a battle-ready soldier. Here i will explain how to live your new life as a soldier to the fullest. To get started to RP you should sign-up for a thread. This should be in the sign up board. Find a recent one that has not started and apply. You better check if the thread has not
started already so you won't go bumping dead threads. You might have to wait for the sign-up thread to gain a few more members or for the thread starter start the skirmish. This time you can maybe update your profile or check out some other stuff.
Neutral threads are a great way to rp alone if you are alone. To do this you should go to the neutral terrain category. You can role-play here about things that happen in normal life of a soldier except combat which should be in combat threads only. If you want some examples check out the other threads that are already here. Allied and Axis have a different neutral role-playing board.
Starting a new role-playing combat thread requires a bit of imagination and time. First think of a good idea for the role-play. Something that would attract real attention. After that you should go to the sign-up board and look at the skirmish starting form. This is a idea of what your skirmish sign up thread should look like. After you fill in the form with your idea you should send it to the administrator for approval, which after approved should be posted in the sign-up board. After enough members join you should start the combat thread in the appropriate countries combat threads. I don't recommend new beginners to start a thread as it can be confusing. Although the choice is all up to you,
Shop and [CP]
You might be wondering whats the items in your mini-profile. Well that's your inventory, that includes items you buy from the shop. the shop includes weapons and other items. Because here, you can't just randomly say in a thread that you take your sniper rifle and shoot them. You need to buy the sniper rifle first. The currency we use here is called [CP], which can be earned from neutral and combat threads. It is also gained in Epic Battles which are big-scaled battles. The [CP] is give n to you after the thread is finished, the amount of [CP] you gain is determined by the your performance in the thread.
Division/Platoons/Companies/Battalions
All these are groups that members join. One advantage of making a division is that it allows you to buy more than one infantry/armor unit from the shop such as a platoon of soldiers or a tank. It also provides other advantages you'll get to know later when you start to role-play here.
Epic Battles
Epic Battles are just like a normal combat thread, but it has a big difference, it is more hugely-scaled with more participants. It is also based on real life battle, but the twist here is that it anybody can win. It is not predetermined. Staff monitors these battles a lot and also can only be started by a staff member.
Well now you should be able to start off WWII RPG. You should learn alot just in a week, and i hope you enjoy it here!
