Antonio marched on and on..The roads turned to dirt. His feet was killing him, he ignored his pain and tried to not even move a muscle except march. He was worried about the morale of his troops as they were going to Germany which was new lands for him.
They were being let by an Cpl. from Germany, Dominik Austerlitz. His eyes moved to the Rocks on the mountain..nothing happened, everything seemed to be fine turned his eyes back to the front.
Antonio noticed some rocks falling from the mountain and immediately shouted,
''Men Get your weapons ready i think we are getting ambushed''
All the soldiers aimed at the top of the mountain ready to attack if necessary...

I edited the map to show where I was and had moved. I didn't add fire lines like I've seen before; it would be way to cluttered. The Commissar let a prayer slowly cross his lips; victory would be his today if he remembered to pray to the Lords of chance above him. He made every man do the same, regardless if they were Orthodox or Islamic. Victory would be theirs, that was for sure. They had been sent to aid the fast moving Allied advance on the Italian peninsula, and launch a fast and brutal Deep Battle assault on a column of Boche troops retreating north; the bastards were trying to fight a war on two fronts, and were losing, badly. The Commissar was sure this was because of his brave fellow Communists who were rapidly grinding down the German offensive in the east. There were no summer uniforms for the Soviet men, so they wore spring campaigning uniform, which sweat tonnes out of them, but every drop of sweat made them stronger men in bronze and will, to their pathetic and imperialist German counterparts Menzhinsky had his men bury their heads in the cliff, and had all of them advance up to the cliff edge, slowly and steadily, covering themselves in foliage. Surprisingly, the beige of the uniforms camouflaged them well against the barren terrain of the Italian hill sides. The troop of Germans advanced forward, then erratically stopped and turned their heads to view the Soviet men, some men ducked, but Menzhinsky had faith and stayed as he was, his weapon aimed down at the obvious leaders of the column, commanding at the front like any idiotic German commander would, asking to be shot. Dogs! “Fire, in the name of the Great Leader!” The commissar roared, and unleashed hell from the barrel of his weapon. All at once, the entire line opened up, each man firing five shots fast and furious, still lying down, improving their aim, and reducing their profile. As they were, it would be near impossible for the Germans to aim at them; there was nothing to aim at! The Commissar fired for five seconds straight, making sure to add weight and lean forward slightly to keep his aim true. His 71 round drum nearly ran dry, the 900RPM weapon spitting out 15 bullets a second. He quickly discarded it and loaded in a new one. This was about how long it took each man to release his fire shots, as Menzhinsky had ordered before setting up the ambush. 75 rifle rounds spat down at the Germans, and 60 submachine rounds at the two commanders. The Commissar enjoyed war.

Bullets ran past Antonio and his men. He dind't know if any of his men were injured but he knew they coulnd't take a gunfire for much longer . Antonio shouted, ' 'Nascondere'' and pointed towards the trees. The German half of the patrol didn't understand but when Antonio began to run into the trees they figured it out. Antonio cursed under his breath. Antonio firing as he ran backwards. He tripped on a rock, and was on the ground. He crawled to a nearby tree and hid there. Luckily one of the men Giovanni, Risked his life and created a diversion which gave Antonio enough time to get back. Antonio was grasping for breath breathing deeply he was his leg was injured badly. A bullet has gone in it. He couldn't feel his leg anymore.. His patrol squad were all perfectly stationed behind trees and were delivering short-bursts of fire to the Allies. Antonio With one hand was also delivering fire. One of his soldiers shouted ''We should Retreat sir..Your Leg....!''
Antonio replied, ''Non me ne importa un cavolo! '' Spa'rare!!He screamed in agony...but still not giving up.. Translation
' 'Nascondere''- Hide ''Non me ne importa un cavolo!'' - I don't give a dam!
''Spa'rare'' - Shoot!

****MODERATION POST**** - Okay, Antonio Moretti, what you said here.......
""""Bullets ran past Antonio and his men. One of his men nearly got hit by the bullet, But they didn't have any major injuries. Antonio shouted, 'Nascondere'' and pointed towards the trees. He couldn't feel his leg anymore..""""[/li][li]That is technically, God Modding, you cannot say that the bullets, didn't hit your men. the Bold part is mainly the bad part, everything else looks good. [/li][li] Axis men have lost 2 men and one severely wounded, Antonio Morettii You are wounded, you have had a bullet skin your calf, but it is a Minor wound and can go on, you just can't do any Sprinting. One man took a bullet to his left thigh, it penetrated into the thigh making him completely immobile, but behind cover, and able to shoot. You may pick which units these are I have no specific ones. [/li][li] Allied You have lost no units due to, your stealthy attack, although 2 units have been wounded, one was hit by fragments from, rock or other debris in the rocks. Making his left arm in severe pain, and he shoots alot less accurate. The other unit was laying down when a bullet struck the ground in front of him causing rock particles to shoot into his face, only temporarily blinding him but not severely injured. [/li][li] You guys are doing a great job of posting so far! Just watch that god Modding! [/li][/ul] Thanks, ~Austin!

Dominik realized that one of the men near him were dead. He wasn't sure about any other soldier as some were crouching or in cover. Dominik prayed as he reloaded, he wasn't so sure about this battle but the courage of Antonio's leadership carried him on... He tried to flank the allies but they were just too high up. He was running out of ammo. He cursed, He had an idea. He noticed the dead soldier who luckily was near the tree beside Dominik. He put all of his power and sprinted as fast as he could. He took some bullets, and continued fighting. on.. He was determined to kill the allied soldiers!!map now updated 2 axis dead and soldiers position changed

Can the trees to the north of the map please be removed. They were not on the original map and have been added, making it unfair.

Technically the forest was there, so there is trees in a forest, so I see no problem in showing which trees he hides behind, normally in a map you would just make tons of trees and not show a general forest.

The man next to the Commissar dropped his rifle and screamed, covering his eyes with his hands and swearing strongly. He got to his knees; a lump of jagged rock from a poor shot had struck his face and eyes. Menzhinsky didn’t want his men to think shooting the rock in front of themselves was an easy way to escape front line duty, as he knew this man had thought. Instinctively, the Commissar got to his feet, and drew his TT-33 from his holster. Without a second thought, he levelled it down at the soldier’s head and pulled the trigger.
“Any man who misses a shot and inflicts pain unto himself will suffer the same fate.” Menzhinsky announced to his men, before holstering his weapon, and kicking the corpse over the side of the cliff face. As he peered over the cliff, he saw the German cowards run for cover in a small stretch of woodland. He smiled. The Italian woodland was bone dry at this time of year.
“Men, you were each given a flask of Leningrad Vodka just before the battle to sharpen your senses, just as any brave soldiers of the Red Army is equipped with before any large battle. I know instruct you to take that glass flask, to tear a strip off your uniform, then insert the cloth into the flask neck, before lighting it.” He watched as his men carried out their order, fast and slick. As the last man finished, he saw fourteen burning bottle, thirteen petrol bombs, a technique he had learned from the Finish forces during the Winter War.
“In the name of Stalin, our Leader, THROW!” Every bottle took flight, seven litres of highly flammable liquor. The glass would smash, sending the liquid everywhere. The flames would then lighting it, causing a massive forest fire. Even if they fell short, the wind was in their favour, being funnelled around the side of the cliff face like a piston, pushing the flames towards the forest.
Menzhinsky then aimed down the barrel of his weapon, and sprayed five and a half seconds worth of bullets down at the Axis troops. He changed his magazine the second it ran dry. His men followed his example, putting shot after shot at the Axis until they too needed to reload.
OOC: That’s about 140 shots, plus fourteen petrol bombs. I think a Mod-mark is in order... My men are actually all at the cliff face, but I can't be bothered to edit the map.

Fires sparked up on the cliff Antonio turned his gaze at the men. They were lighting vodka bombs, Antonio cursed. His life stopped for a few seconds for him. He got up and looked around and saw he had nine men only. Two of them died. And he knew more of them were going to pass too. He couldn't run away from the battle. He stared at his legs, he just didn't have power to run away.
A tear fell down from his eyes.
Reality came back into action. The bombs were thrown. The fires were going to burn the entire forest soon. Antonio ran out of the cover bravely with all he got. He took out his grenade instantly after the first wave of gunfire ceased, and threw it up the cliff hoping it would explode the cliff shouting,
'' In the name of our great leader Mussolini and for the glory of the axis''.
The smoke from the fires engulfed the area. He hoped that the grenade would kill some of them or at least give them enough time to regroup and even retreat.. He immediately started to run away, but he couldn't and began limping away from the forest. He shouted,
''Men, Come out before you get burned!'' he didn't know if any of them survived.
OOC:winters if you don't agree with this ill gladly change!

****MODERATION POST**** - Commissar Vyacheslav Menzhinsk's bombs have ignited.
- The axis have just a few minutes to retreat or fight off the enemy. Within 4 posts the forest will be gone that's two for each side. Two should give each side time to plan out the rest of the battle. You have hit not a single person in the process of your shooting beings that o the smoke from the fire you couldn't see very well, and they were behind cover fairly well.
- Antonio Moretti your grenade, has killed two of the Commissar's Soldiers, plus uh he shot one of them .
- Next post Commissar then Antonio then Commissar then Antonio and the skirmish should be over.
Thanks, ~Austin!
