OOC: This is open to all Allies. Two P-51's flew over the training field, then broke formation as they strafed a dummy sandbag emplacement. The two P-51's then soared back up into the sky, the sun reflecting off their hull as they circled back around and performed another strafe, this time on an old half-track. The Half-track exploded into a fury of flames, spewing all over the ground. The two P-51's continued to circle the area, strafing targets. Today was a war game, two platoon from the 101st each team. James was on the first team, and 1st team was assembled on the North end of the training field, with a small patch work of tree's to the East, and some very hilly terrain to the west. So one could rush through the flatland, move through the Forrest, or try to cross the hills. The local Staff Sergeant was moving through 1st team handing out dummy rounds, James took two magazines, on top of his dummy mag already loaded. A loud whistle rang out and the game had begun.

As Feury listened to the Loud ring, and he smiled. He had been the only First Sergeant to sign up for the war games, so he outranked a few people. He looked around at the men of team two, which was based in the south, and began to bark a few orders before he picked up his Lee Enfeild rifle, and began to run up to the Top of the cliff, somewhere in the east, where he could see almost all of the feild below. He loaded his rifle with a dummy round, and checked one dummy grenade strapped to his chest on the way up the cliff. Once he finially got to the top, about five minutes later, he looked across the feild, seeing almost no one, but his own men. He laid down on the grass, right next to the edge of the hill, and began to look through the metal aim, looking for someone he might be able to shoot, as a woodby sniper.

As the game started, Daniel was on team one, but being low on the rank food chain received orders from a nearby sergeant. He and two privates crawled halfway through a field when he spotted a few helmets on a cliff directly in front of him.
He loaded his Lee-Enfield rifle with 5 dummy rounds. He and the two others quietly crawled behind two logs in the field because they knew that the men on the cliff could easily pick them off. And it was lucky at that point that the three men were not spotted, but he guessed it was because of the tall grass that blended beautifully with their M-41 field Jackets.
Now he could easily see that there were a few people up there, and a few in the field coming towards them. He realized that they were outnumbered about 2 to 1, so he told the two others around him to toss their dummy grenades towards the men in the field, and "take out" the men on the cliff with their rifles.

"Alright men, we have to move back from this position, i see ALOT of men, around 15, comming from the enemy's side, and we need to scoot out of here now, so pick up that Browning, and lets get amove on." Feury said to the few men taht where following him. They nodded, and slowly began to pack up their Browning. He looked around, and took a dummy grenade from one of the Sergeants, and pulled the pin, watching it roll down the Mountian, towards some logs.

Now Daniel realized the size of the battle taking place, so he carried out his plan to toss two dummy grenades into the field in front of him putting a few of the other team out of the battle, and began to lay down fire on the cliff.
But at the corner of his eye he spotted a grenade rolling down the hill, and said to the privates around him "grenade!!! take cover!!!".
By looking at the distance of the grenade he determined that one of the private to his left was ok, the one to his right would be dead, and himself would have received minor shrapnel wounds as the grenade landed in front of the log to his right about 8 feet.
Now Daniel was considered wounded and could only walk not run as determined by the camp officials on a board at the war game field. So now he watched as about a dozen men from his team advanced up the cliff.
But now he could see that it was an ambush, the enemies on the hill fell back, but a second fire team was flanking the advancing men from the left. He quickly whipped up his rifle, reloaded with the full potential of 10 dummy rounds, and began firing, as well as the private next to him just as he had ordered.
He saw about half of the advancing force become classified as dead, and the other half get to the top and began fending for themselves, but what worried him the most was where the men on the hill had gone, but just then a first sergeant on the hill motioned for him and the private to get on top of the hill.

Feury looked around, he, and three men had retreated back into a small stretch of woods, and he was saying behind a log, watching the men set up the Browning. He looked over, and saw about, 12 people, and 1 First Sergeant. He whispered into the Gunner's ear "Fire at will.". After about, 10 seconds of silence, the Browning opened up with Blank rounds, and sprayed the men on the top of the hill. Feury watched, and somewhat laughed at the surprise of the Men on the top of the hill. He watched as about, 9 Men fell, and two where seriously "Injured". The only man left had been the First Sergeant, who ran for cover. Feury looked across the plain, and pulled out a grenade as the men stopped fireing the Browning. He held the grenade in his hand, his finger in the pin, ready to pull it out, and chuck it. He looked behind him, and watched as a radio man ran up, a Sergeant, and said "Do you need anything sir?". Feury stayed Quiet, and said "Nothing yet, but stay here, i may need you to call Alpha, or Dog if we need to get out of here."

Daniel started up the hill, but looked up to see most of the squad taken out. The First Sergeant said "what are you waiting for, get up here!!" and Daniel with the private did just that.
They got up the hill to find the Sergeant out of the game by a grenade. He and the private hid behind some rocks. Daniel could see a Browning 1919a4 without the tripod just beyond the cover of the rocks. He ordered the private to give covering fire, and with that quickly picked up the MG.
Now realizing that it was a stalemate between him and the private and maybe three or four of them only maybe 100 feet apart. He only focused on the task at hand to eliminate the "enemy".
He remembered a radio from on of the dead on the initial charge up the hill, but being wounded probably could not get it without an MP calling him dead. So he ordered the private to get it and call in Fox Co. on the radio while he provided suppressing fire with the MG. He opened up with all that he had, and yelled "Go, run for the radio, now!!!". He used up the two belts he had, and then switched back to his Lee-Enfield making his last stand on the hill alone.

Feury could hear The MG blasting, and yelled over to the Radio Operator "CALL ME IN DOG! I REPEAT, CALL IN DOG! They have an MG!" The radio operator nodded, and pulled the phone out of his Radio Pack, and began to yell in the Request. Feury stuck his head up just a little over the Log, enough for him to see the men, and for the "Enemy" to see the First Sergeant Logo on his Helmat. He saw the few men, and hid his head from the log. He ripped a small peice of White Cloth off of his Undershirt just incase his men died, and put it in his Pocket. He looked over the men again, and watched as his men reloaded the Browning, and began to fire it towards the rocks again. They spotted the Private trying to get the radio, and fire'd in his direction, but missed. Feury looked back at the Radio man, and the Sergeant shook his head, saying "They are both taken sir, im sorry....". Feury balled his hand into a fist, and banged it into the log Angrily. He looked back over at the Sergeant, and grabbed the Phone from his hands, and said into it loudly "COMMAND HQ, I REPEAT, COMMAND HQ, THIS IS FIRST SERGEANT CAMPELLONE, I NEED ALPHA NOW, I REPEAT, I NEED A SHERMAN TANK NOW!" The phone crackled a little, before he heard a quiet reply of "This is command HQ, Roger that Feury, we will have your Sherman Tank there in the next Thirty minutes!"

James had gone lone wolf, taking the time to flank left, into the forrest, and carefully moving his way around, he could hear the soft rat a tat tat noise's from a firefight, but that didn't stop him. James being a relatively good shot with his M1 Grand, moved towards the edge of the forrest, he waited, and surveyed the area, no one in sight. James took a deep breath, and bolted out of the forrest, and printed across the open field, and then dove to the base of a hill, he was safe from anyone to his right, where that firefight had been raging. James slowly crawled up the hill, he peaked over the top, no one, so he moved over the crest of the hill, and moved towards the firefight.
James could see the faint outline's of two figures, so he crept closer, and went prone, and took aim with his M1. Those figures were definately from the second team, they were moving towards the firefight, and James was alone on his flanking of the second team. James lined up the the first shot, peering down his iron sight's, he pulled the trigger, sending a dummy round down range, and bouncing off the helmet of one of the soldiers. The second soldier turned around at the sound of the ping, and "the death" of his budy, but James already had a shot lined up, not to the head, but to the chest cavity, James pulled the trigger, and the dummy round impacted in the guy's sternum, so he was down. James slowly rose, puting his right knee into the ground as he crouched, and swept the area. James checked the rea, and spotted no movement, and opted to continue onwards. James had one dummy grenade, and he asn't planning on using it unless he needed to. James heard some gunfire ahead, and went prone, bringing his M1 to bear infront of him, spotting nothing he crawled onwards, tke care not to be spotted.

Feury was now beginning to worry. He watched as the men that where following him where being picked off. First the radio man, then the Ammo loader for the Browning. He looked out of the forest, and could see no one, for now. He picked up a long stick that was lying on the ground, and tied the White cloth to it, setting it down next to the log, just incase he needed it. He looked down at his watch, it had already been 15 minutes since he asked for that tank, and there where no signs of it at all. He looked behind him at the forest, then back at the Field, just before the cliff's edge. He picked up his Lee-Enfeild, and felt the Knife he had strapped to his Leg under his Pants. He Looked around, his back against the Log, with his Lee in hand, watching the Forest. He picked up the Stick with the white cloth on it, and set it on his lap, just in-case. He kept silent, watching the Last man left in his Half-Squad sit next to him. They both Where silent, before the Private went back to the Browning, and began to spray the feild with it. Feury listened very carefully, blocking out the sound of the MG, and listening for anything unusual.

Daniel once again slung his Lee-Enfield and replaced it with a Thompson from a nearby "dead soldier" with one 30 round mag in the gun and two 20 round mags a extra ammo. He then looked through a small hole in the rocks for the enemy was no longer shooting.
The private that he had sent had returned and said "Fox is pulling back and cannot provide assistance, the enemy had about two companies encircling our current location". Not good Daniel thought.
He guessed that their team's CP was somewhere in the circled area that unfortunately included his and the private's location. He looked over the top of the rocks when an MG opened up so he put it back down, but this time he only saw two enemies, but no matter there were still enemies near him.
Realizing his situation he ordered the private to start making a makeshift bunker on the hill with some excess rocks without getting exposed so they had cover from all sides. He himself collected weapons and ammo which only consisted of two Lee-Enfields with a total od 100 rounds, the Thompson with only 70 rounds, and a colt 1911 45 pistol from the "dead" sergeant. And together they braced the fight that was coming from all sides.

Fy looked over at the Last man that was left with him as he stopped fireing the Browning. "Whats wrong private?" Feury asked. "Sir.... i beg to report... that it is out of ammunition, we have none left..." The private responded. Feury was now really annoyed. He looked at his watch. "Five minutes until that tank better be here! If we can hold out until then, we will be fine Kid, trust me, if i have to get myself "Killed" ill keep you alive." The private smiled slightly, and said "Thank you sir." before returning his attention to the feild infront of him, picking up his Rifle also. He set it ontop of the log, and took his last grenade, pulled the pin, and chucked it towards the Men. He then reveiled his head, watching to see where it would hit. Meanwhile, Feury was still watching the forest, waiting for any movement to happen, so he could shoot.

The MG fire had stopped, he looked up to see a grenade hurtling towards them, so once again Daniel yelled out"grenade, get back!!!" The two of them slid partially down the hill, waited the 4 seconds it took for a grenade to detonate an filled their positions.
He couldn't see any enemy movement, but just then could hear the rumble of a tank. "Dang, you'd better get loaded up and get your grenade out cause your going to need it".
He told the private that they should brace for the worst, but that they should stay calm, and at the first sight of the tank to fall back down the hill and try to blend in behind the logs once again, and hope to not get spotted because they had nothing that could stop a tank.

Looking through the slit in the rocks Daniel could now clearly see a Sherman tank rolling down the road. He said "you fall back to the logs and hide so you can survive, I'm wounded and will probably be spotted so I'll stay here and occupy the tank and whoever else is with it".
With that the Private said "alright but take the grenade, you'll need it more than I do", and he handed over his dummy grenade to Daniel. The private ran back to their former positions, and Daniel stayed at their makeshift bunker.
Now the tank stopped and the commander opened up his hatched and started talking to someone behind some logs. Before the tank could get his location he took up the Thompson and fired two 5 round bursts at the commander, pulled the pin on the grenade and tossed it at the logs where he knew were two men that were now firing at him.
Now under heavy fire from the tank and the two infantry men, he could not move, so he put the Thompson inside the gun slit he made through the rock cover and began to fire at the general direction of the enemy. Now the tank fired a blank shell, and he knew that of it was real he would be blown to pieces so he raised the butt stock of the Thompson to indicate he was dead.
He tied a white piece of cloth to his arm to also indicate he was dead, and lied there listening to the tank's engine, orders being directed at soldiers, and the occasional machine gun or rifle fire. And despite being up against a half squad and a tank he felt angry with himself; for if it was a real battle he would have broken his promise to his family to come home at the end of the war.

(Sorry i didn't post, i had something to do.) Feury watched as the grenade landed right next to the Private, and the Private knew it, and he covered the Grenade up with his body, to save his First Sergeant. Feury knew his private was dead, and looked up as the Tank Fire'd. He stood up, and walked over to the tank, and climbed up onto the hood, and sad next to the Hatch, thanking the Tank Commander. He then looked down at Daniel, and hopped off of the tank, and over to Daniel. He staired down at him, and said "Good work Soldier, you may stand up now, we all know you are dead." The Tank commander smiled, and went back to inside of his tank, to congratulate his Men, then emerged from the tank, holding three glass bottles of coke. He tossed two to Feury, and opened one for himself. Feury looked down at Daniel, and tapped him with his foot, and said "Anybudy home?"
