OOC: Here is an Updated map, and Let the SKIRMISH BEGIN!! Winter's and his men had been into the flight only a mere, 30 Minutes, with another 20 to go. When they began to encounter Flak. The Germans were pounding the skies at the site of the single plane. Not but seconds after the Flak emerging the Pilots shouted back to Winters, to tell his men to hold on they were about to take some in basic maneuvers. To try and avoid the flak. Winters turned around stood up and shouted "Listen up men!!, the Pilot & Co-pilot are about to take some In Basic Maneuvers to avoid the flak, Now hold the hell on this is going to get rough!!!!!" Sitting back down and relaxing his voice, he grasped the nearby handle, better knows as the "O-SHIT!! Handle" Just as he grasped his cold hands on it, the plane took a short right bank and began climbing up, up, and up like it was never gonna stop. Nothing special they had practiced riding in these maneuvers before. One of the Soldiers stood up balancing himself perfectly saying "Sir! This is what you call in basic maneuvers?, this is wussy stuff" Just as he said that the plane jolted back into a left bank climbing even higher to avoid the explosions of the flak. The Soldier Shouted "O-SHIT!!" as he dove back into his seat grasping the near by handle. Thus putting all the other soldiers into a chuckle watching the biggest show off ever be thrown around. Winters normally not amused actually saw this funny cracking up laughing. Then the flak finally cut loose. The pilot announcing they were heading back down to a lower altitude and to begin checking gear for the jump because there ETA was 5 Minutes. Winters stood up and announced that everyone stand up and hook up their chutes. As he walked down to the other end of the plane towards the jump door. He turned around grabbing the handle, and shouting "All men check your comrades gear!!" Every man checking the soldiers gear in front of them then giving a simple pat on the back signaled an Okay. Then came the red light signaling a minute till jump time. You could see the nervousness in the eyes of every soldier knowing that every jump something could go wrong, and it could be their last jump. Then the terrifying Green light. Go Go Go Shouting Winters. Patting each soldier on the back as they jumped out the door. Then him self jumping out last. As he felt he wasn't gonna leave till all of his soldiers had safely jumped first. He fell into a free fall then, within seconds the terrifying jolt, of the parachute deploying. Releasing a sigh he was re leaved that his chute worked properly. Then came the the landing. He was headed for a clearing. Fortunately he made it safely and almost perfectly into the clearing in the corner of the forest. He quickly got himself untangled from his chute immediately cutting his reserve chute off, freeing himself. He noticed that all of this men were there except one. They hadn't a clue of where he was. Then they noticed a chute coming down at the northern end of the meadow. A sign of re leaf fell over Winters. Knowing that he had one m,roe successful jump having a record of never losing a an due to bad equipment, or landing. Winters than gathered up 8 of his men sending them west where there was an abandoned sand bag bunker. The 8 of them slowly crawled the remainder of the distance after getting close. Easing into their positions where they could see their Enemy light within the house. Knowing daylight would arise soon Winters quickly assembled the remaining 12 men and took them to the bunker swiftly setting up positions in the bunker. Whereas they could see a glimpse of light through the trees. Now all they needed to do was wait, then when they are ready Attack!!

Sepp and 12 men jump from the plane they land split up into groups of four, except for sepp who landed about 150 yards from anyone, His ankle hit a Tree really hard on his way down, when he landed he said really loud "damn it!!!! Ahhhhh". he tried ot stand up but it was hard for him, he lost his m1 grand on the drop, "Shit" he thought knowing he hade made the drop but injured and without a good gun, sepp quickly pulled his lugar out and said "Thunder!" waiting for to hear flash, "Flash!" yelled Sgt. Geroge smith. "Sergeant get over here!" yelled Sepp, Geroge Smith and 3 other guys came out form the bottom of the woods, "help me up i think i ethier spranged or broke my ankle" said Sepp painfully, the men picked him up and helped him get to the northern part of the woods where they met up with Sgt. Jones and Sgt. McClusky. "ok guys, we are gonna do these krauts alot of damage and remember one thing, God Be with you!" Said Sepp.

Jonathan landed smoothly, and quietly. Just as he planned. Easing off his pack and dumping his reserve chute. He grabbed his Springfield out of his pack. Dumping everything except his grenade, shovel, knife, Colt and Ammunition. He slipped into his Ghille Suit. Now fully camouflaged. He noticed his spotter just coming down next to him. Struggling to get out of his harness. He crept over and hushed him. Then pulled out his knife and severed the harness belt. Helping him get his gear. His spotter had a Carbine, Hi Powered Spotting Scope, binoculars, and his knife. After he had his gear together and his Ghille Suit on the both of them Belly crawled to a patch of trees. Overlooking the house. This was it they set up camp here. John slowly rested his rifle against the tree trunk as the spotter was setting up his scope beside him easing with the utmost care being silent and almost motionless. The spotter whispered so quietly, a mouse couldn't have heard it. "John you have a clear shot of a couple windows and a risky one of the door." He Replied back "Confirmed." There they sat waiting for the moment to strike. From the briefing John understood that the moment the other Allies opened fire, they were to begin firing too.

"The enemy is planning to assault on us! The thing is: we don't know the time of their assault. For security measures the walls of this house have a small layer of metal in them to stop SOME bullets and secondly stay away from the windows. If you shoot out the windows, make sure you can take cover!", Xavier warned the men. He kept a lookout for enemies with a apparatus he made out of a couple mirrors. He watched the trees and the area. He made another statement "If you have a problem or a question then come to me or Bernhard. When the fight starts, you need to focus. But don't forget! You might die but for the glory of your homeland! Together we will withstand the intruder! Sieg Heil!" Everyone cheered without getting up.

Bernhard heard Xavier's remarks as he turned away from the window and approved of Xavier's mirrors. So far they were all in the barracks his men looking at Xavier and Bernhard. He picked up his rifle and was checking its action. "Everyone check each other's gear, make sure its working properly. They'll probably assault us from multiple directions so for now Xavier will be our lookout. Keep his advice about the windows in your mind. If we have to shoot out the windows I want to two men at each window and the extras to cover any holes. For now just keep a look out."

OOC: I am so sorry I took this long, I will try and make sure it doesn't happen again I just got real busy. Winters was ready it was time, time to take out those Krauts. He walked down the line whispering to his soldiers. "When you hear me open fire that gives you the Signal to I want this house taken." Every soldier responded with a simple nod. Returning to his first position ready. "Wait he thought" He hadn't told anyone else of this yet so he, waited a second or two, putting up his binoculars, trying to see through the faint light. He couldn't see anyone in the windows. So he secretly crawled out of the trench. Belly crawling back to the DZ. Then getting up and making his way behind his squad of soldiers positioned at the bunker. He Got within several feet of the men. Who were near asleep, then clicked his Cricket, thus making a quiet "Click" As he ducked behind a tree. He heard the response of "Click Click as he hoped. He slowly stepped out from behind the tree, and walked crawled toward the bunker. Waling up to whom he had put in charge Private Washington. He told him the low down. "As soon as you hear me open fire, open fire as well!, I want them Kraut Bastards out of that house before sun up. Good luck to you!" Stepping back about to turn around when one of the soldiers said " You to sir, putting up a faint Salute" Winters returned with a quick salute, and winking. He stepped back into the dark forest making his way back over to the trench. Stopping about midway between, the trench and DZ he stopped noticing some movement, across the way. Instinctively putting up his binoculars, he looked noticing the other squad of soldiers who he assumed were the soldiers parachuted in right after them, with their commander 2nd LT. Sepp Reinard. He figured they had 2 hours before sun up. So he would make sure they knew what was going on. Going back up the the DZ, and following the edge of the tree line he came upon a squad of soldiers. He Clicked his cricket thankfully getting a faint "Click Click" back. So he walked up the the squad who was preparing for battle. He told them the story and asked who and where their commander was. Just as he thought it was Sepp. They told him he was just 100-150 yards below them. He saluted and went on finally meeting up with the Commander, along with another squad on his way. Being sure he had told everyone the plan, he made his way back to the trench. Accomplishing his trek in less than 45 minutes. With 1 Hour and 15 minutes of dark left. The soldiers in the trench were worried that he had gotten captured. He replied back with a chuckle "You Kidding me? I wouldn't let them Dirty Bastards get me! Without taking a few with me!" The soldier replied back "Okay sir, just had me worried" Chuckling with Winters. He then aimed his Thompson into the open doorway of the house. Although he couldn't see anything he had a chance of hitting something. He fired spraying a full clip into the house's door. Now they were alerted they knew we were there. Yet they had nothing they could do completely pinned. He kept on firing into the door. Spraying the windows with constant fire. He didn't want to have to fire at nothing. Yet he hadn't the time to wait for the "perfect" shot. He could hear troops shooting all over the place. The house getting solid fire directed at it ad its windows. Then the fire slowly stopped. He now waited to see what the Germans would do.

Sepp threw a clip he had kept for a while now for an m1 grand at the soldier and kept firing, When he ran out of ammo and realized Winters had stopped firing he did also "Cease fire!" sepp yelled his men stopped firing, "OK! alpha squad take the upper direction a bit, bravo take the lower section abit,, Move out!" sepp said

[[OOC: Here I am, posting my first real post of roleplay. I hope I am welcome here, I have a more or less direct permission from staff to aid you all in making this RP thread more entertaining, so I guess I'll give my best. "ALLONS!"]]
The southwestern group of four, that's where the sunglasses-wearing "Lieutenant" Chatrousse had landed, although barely succeeding. He had appreciated having been picked up by some 101st airborne unit soldiers earlier on and flown over to this skirmish; He had worshipped the beautiful moment of weightlessness he felt jumping out the plane under Flakkanone fire, spreading his limbs out like an angelical figure as the cold wind blew at his face, his velvety-black hair and his black scarf... ...All ending rather abruptly; He had opened his parachute at a decent moment, but his legs weren't ready to take the force of landing. He slipped down, and had to crawl out from under his parachute after the landing. Luckily he didn't have too much to carry, the M1 garand was heavy, he had heard, and if he had anything, it was a revolver he had recieved from his time with british soldiers, a black Webley Mk. IV, caliber .38, designed just that year in '42, for which David had taken some time to have his name carved into the grip. Now would be the time to use it...
The other lads in the group were still there, and decided to remain, waiting for a signal from their commanding officer, 2nd Lieutenant Reinard to act. That suited David to a tee, all he had was his trusted six-shooter, a combat knife and his pack of cigs he didn't dare turn on now to avoid having the small group being seen from the nearby building the baddies were in. Sitting down, leaning against a tree, he pulled out a small book of german poetry and read, waiting for the time to get moving.
Shots were heard. The trusted sound of the Thompson M1A1 and the M1 garand rifles of the americans were macabry soothing at this distance, audible as rapidly successing thumps, the muzzle flashes illuminating the locations they came from. David Francois Chatrousse stood up, pocketed his poetry book and patted his bum clean from any dirt from where he sat, and smiled. "Aye, gentlemen, think we should follow the leader and get to where the other unit is, or should we stay here, moving out from our location to get at the house?" He asked, holding his opal black webley, spinning it like some spaghetti western filmstar and opening the magazine, checking all the six .38 rounds inside for impurities or production defects.
[[OOC: Sepp, I made use of the fact that you have not touched these troops in your post and let them there while you had the rest of your military unit run up towards the trench in the east sector of the area. Please PM me with what the other soldiers here do, or post directly in here, understood? Thank you in advance!]]

"We're backup, frenchie. Feel free to move on, but we'll stick to Lieutenant Reinard's plan, understood?" said one of the four US soldiers to David-Francois. "Aaight, I'll have a good ol' sneak around. Don't come lookin' for me till the fight's over!" said the sunglasses-wearing, revolver-toting man, waving the american troops and dashing northeast, hiding behind bushes and trees, his green eyes behind the red-tinted shades glued to the building's windows, trying to recognize if anyone from inside the structure would notice him. Standing behind a tree, he unholstered his revolver again, this time to leave it out the leather pouch. He pulled out a thin cigarette from the packet he had with him, brought it to his lips but didn't light it. The smoke would hinder his breathing when sprinting, the glowing tip of burning tobacco would attract attention. All he needed was that trusted feeling of fine tobacco in his lips and the aroma reaching his nostrils to keep himself even more calm than before. Calm wasn't a good word now, though. He actually wanted to feel excitement. The war could end soon, and the scary, unromantic moments could finally be delivered from the battlefields, delivered from the world. Peace would literally 'break out', so to speak. It was just a matter of living as much experience through it all until one side would win.
'clack-click' went the webley as the front part of the frame and cylinder were bought back to the rest of the frame, with the thumb pulling back the hammer and the index finger pressing against the trigger guard, keeping some sort of safety from an accidental firing. The webley was surely a stylish gun, thought David. Lock and load.

Xavier saw that they were surrounded by LOTS of allied troops. To be exact they were surrounded on three sides. He whispered orders to his combat-ready men. Then he went to the door with his squad of six. They turned off the light. Then snuck out without being seen because of the darkness. They went south in cover of trees. In the distance they saw four men waiting to be killed. Slowly going from tree to tree, getting closer to the clueless men. After two minutes of sneaking they noticed in the distance to the north more men and a guy with sunglasses smoking. Xavier was a mere 25 feet away from the clueless men and was still unnoticed. After his men where in position he gave them the order to fire by nodding and because of the shooting on the other side of the battlefield, the assault should be more or less unnoticed. The squad began their fire. 3 of the victims either were hit or took cover, the other hid behind a tree. After 45 seconds the fire stopped. No one knew if they were dead or not.
