I think I get the other 14 NPCs, which I would take from my platoon if I do get them, but I still don't know about my rifle. I could buy any other rifle just for the battle, or I could just say that the scope is taken off for the battle, and not have the scope count for any hit points.

The thing I am saying about the sniper situation is that if there were two snipers it would be pretty screwed up. It would just be those two shooting from all sides while the enemy is confused to hell.
If the allies agree to this then fine with me. And Rolf you can always use the Mauser Karbine!

Well, hell, I think they can have their two snipers, but with that, it means that Niklas is lead Axis, because I don't believe snipers can command units in battles like platoons. Anyways, it is up to Heydrich. Also, Furey, you think we can take them if they have two snipers, or should we do the setup Heydrich proposed?

I noticed how the list said I was "inactive," I am sorry if I gave that impression, but I am still here. I will bring my only squad of men (6 ncp's) and myself. I do like Rolf Blauvelt's idea since German snipers really did confuse the hell out of US troops, thus holding up entire units.

Well a 3v3, this ought to be fun, now the NPC's per side are 20v20. This is going to be fun.

Ok, so I think that, if everyone agrees, I'll bring in my 14 units, and count the scope inactive for the battle. Or we could change my title to an equivalent to Designated Marksman, which would technically bring my effective range down, and still allow me to keep my scope, and still command a platoon.

Marksman is not only for snipers but it increases your general accuracy. So thats settled? You keep the scope on AND you can snipe but your position will not be hidden and you will be less effective really long range?
And sorry Dan about that... In my long time here I have grown a sense of paranoia about people who dissapear for a short while. =)
If this is true I want you all to place your men on the map. Go go go!

well two things, how are we 'choosing' where we are on the map to start with. And the second is that I also want to know the answer to Rolf's question, does he have his soldiers?

I think I'm getting 14 of my soldiers. If I am, then I would take my Cpl., and the first 13 guys on my list of NPCs.

For Niklas I meant within your starting area. Niklas you get your squad with your halftrack crew and Rolf gets his 14 men.

...because I don't know where else to put this...how long are we going to wait in between posts? I thought it said something about two days. I don't mean to complain, even though I am, but I just wanted to know.
