Paris. A city Furey had flown over time and time again during the battle of Normandy, but never once did he drop a bomb on this beautiful city. Both the Germans and Americans called it a "Open City", a city that would not be shelled, nor bombed, to keep it from going ablaze. He had been in town for the victory parade a few weeks ago, and had a meeting with fellow British and French Air-core officer to discuss future battles. Sitting next to him in his Plymouth was a Luftwaffe General, his personal Prisioner of war, whom he had taken to the meeting to discuss their flying expertise. It was rather strange to Furey, being so close to a German Luftwaffe General, in his uniform and everything, and not shooting him, but he had grown to like this man, he was a smart man, and from what Furey could tell, one of the few German officers not stuck up in the Nazi Idiology, to Furey, this man only wanted to protect his country, and wanted this war to end as quickly as possible, and Furey respected that. Furey found himself driving his Plymouth down the long roads of Paris, trying to find a nice little place to relax and get himself, and the General, a cup of coffee, for he'd promised the man a cup of Cafe, and Furey never went back on his word, not even for a German. He looked around, rolling down the street with his drivers side window open. He found himself loving paris, He had been in the victory parade, four cars behind Eisenhower, and three cars infront of Patton, it was quite the exilerating thing for him, he had always wanted to meet those grand officers, but he had never gotten the chance to do it, they were always too busy to talk to a loley Airforce Major. After a moment, he found a nice little resturant, and slowed his car to a stop infront of it, closing the window of his car before he stepped out of the car, closing the door carefully. He looked around, putting on his Officers cap, the bright golden insignia and deep blue color catching a few French womens attention, and they waved at him. He looked over as the General, a man named Hans von Krueger, stepped out of the car, nodding at him. Furey made sure he had his three Pistols, a Colt, a Webly Revolver, and a Browning High-Powered. Two of his pistols were in side holsters, and one was in his shoulder holster. Furey led the General into the Resturant, passing by a soldier he'd recognized, but wasnt exactly sure who he was, so he let it go for a moment. The aroma of freshly backed bread and pastries filled the air of the small resturant as Furey asked Hans "Was würde Sie mögen?"What would you like? Hans looked over at him, and looked at the menu for a moment, before saying "Gerade ein Schwarzer Kaffee, Danke."(Just a Black Coffee, Thank you.) Furey nodded, walking over to the counter, and asked the counter attendant, a beautiful young woman, "Deux cafés noirs s'il vous plaît, merci."(Two Black Coffees, please. She smiled, replying "Dont worry, I speak English, so you do not have to speak French. And will there be anything else?" Furey shook his head, smiling as he replied "No thank you, that will be all". Furey pulled otu his wallet, putting the money to pay for the coffee on the table. Furey looked around, as the woman said "We will bring your coffee out to you two." Furey smiled, nodding, and said "Folgen Sie Mir, Hans.".(Follow me, Hans.) Hans nodded, following Furey out the front door as he looked around for a seat. Most, if not all, the table were taken, mainly by French civilians. He noticed the soldier he'd recognized still sitting down, at a table with three empy chairs. He suddenly realized who it was, A man named Harry Hamilton, he'd met at one of his private parties back in Northern France, at his private mansion taken as a spoil of war. He walked over, introducing himself, by saying "Hello, Sergeant Harry Hamilton. I believe that we know eachother. I am Major Furey Campellone, we met when you came to one of my parties. Would you mind if my friend an I sat down?"

Furey had been standing around his car, yawning a few times as he watched the business of the HQ show itself, it was almost as busy as his HQ, the only difference was the fact that his HQ had planes going in and out of its airfield, hurt planes continuously landing time after time. After a few minutes of standing there, Furey looked behind him, and saw a sergeant walking towards him in the distance. He squinted in an attempt to see if he recognized the man, and he did, it was Daniel Steinert, a man that he had gone to Basic Training with back in the 30's, before Furey was transfered to the Air-Core, and long before he became an Officer., he was also a Man Furey had often reccomended for promotion, and eventually the man was promoted, three fold, and even given two medals by the recommendation of himself. As the Sergeant neared him, and saluted, he saluted back. He looked at Daniel as he explained what he was going to show him how to do, and said "Great, Daniel! Im rather Excited!" Furey pulled out another Cigar, cutting off the butt of it, and lighting it with his crystal Lighter from his Mansion in the French Countryside that he was going to claim as a spoil of war, and handed it to Daniel, before taking another inhale, and exhale, of his own Cigar, saying "Well, Daniel, I suppose that should help with any nerves that you have, even if your experienced at it. Now, show me what I've got to do!"

Furey found himself, as usual, hunched over the dull and boring piles of paperwork that he had to finish as a Major. He hadn't seen the front lines in months, but his hair was graying faster than ever. He hated the feelling when he found out a group of his men died, and it was getting to him.
Today, though, he would be able to get the chance to relax. He found himself walking out of his office after finishing one of a forms that he had to fill out for a promotion. He found himself stepping into the fresh air of the french countryside, smelling the crisp air of the french countryside. In-front of his HQ sat his Plymouth staff car.
Furey yawned, and walked down the brick steps of the HQ. He found himself smiling at his priviatly hired French Driver, a 73 year old man whom needed a job after his little business was destroyed by german forces retreating out of Paris. For twenty dollars a month, he was one of the greatest friends he had made.
He looked at his driver, and said "Hiya, Pierre, 1st armored division HQ"
Pierre nodded, opening the door of his car for him, and Furey got into the car, watching Pierre shut the door, then walk over to the side of the car, and getting into the drivers seat of the car, and beginning to drive it away.
He saluted a few of his men that were busy doing things on the airfield, and soon found himself speeding out of the front gate, and down the long winding roads through a thick forest that separated the 9th Air-force and the 1st Armored Division, the fresh air blowing through his open window during the crisp March day.
After about 20 minutes of driving, he found Pierre coming upon a clearing, and found himself watching Pierre slowing to a stop in-front of the gates of the divisional Headquarters. He watched one of the men walk over to the side of his staff car, and salute at him, before Furey showed him the orders he'd written himself.
As the other guard opened the gate, Pierre nodded, smiling, and pulled the car forward. He began to speed down the fields of the divisional HQ, passing by tanks and groups of infantry on parade. He looked around as the HQ Building came into view.
As Pierre slowed to a stop in-front of the HQ, Furey got out of his staff car, looking around at the many men that were busy with their tanks. He set his Visor cap ontop of his head, fitting it firmly with his head, before pulling a cigar out of his Jacket pocket, and clipping the butt of it, then light it, putting it in his mouth, and taking a deep breath. He stood there, waiting for Wiktor Boguslaw to greet him.

Furey couldnt believe it, he was growing old! His blonde hair was slwoly graying, he'd picked up the habit of smoking, and he was now in his middle forties. He looked around his office, his back hunched over a pile of paperwork. He looked up at the clock, and realized that he had to go to the 1st Armored Divisions HQ today, a friend of his, a rather young man, only in his 20's, was going to teach him how to use Demolition Charges. Furey looked around, and picked up his lighter and a package of his favorite cigars, sticking them both into the inside of his jacket as he stood up from his desk, cracking his back in an effort to get some relief. He looked around, then walked out of his office, closing the door slowly and locking it. He looked at his secretary, and smiled, waving at her as he walked out of the office. As he walked out of his office building, he looked around, the fresh air of a warm March day in France filled the air. He looked around, and yawned, stretching his arms before walking over to the motor-pool. He looked around at the many vehicles and trucks of the motor-pool, before jumping into a Ford Coupe, his staff car, and speeding along down the airfield, towards the gate. He saluted a few of his men that were busy doing things on the airfield, and soon found himself speeding out of the front gate, and down the long winding roads through a thick forest that seperated the 9th Airforce and the 1st Armored Division. After about 20 minutes of driving, he came upon a clearing, and found himself slowing to a stop infront of the gates of the divisional Headquarters. He watched one of the men walk over to the side of his staff car, and salute at him, before Fure showed him the orders he'd written himself. As the other guard opened the door, he pulled his car forward, and began to drive through the rolling fields of the headquarters. He found himself flying by tanks and crewmen, and pulling up infront of a large field, with a sign marked "Warning, Demolition Area!" He slowed to a stop, and got out of his staff car, looking around at the many men that were busy with their tanks. He set his Visor cap ontop of his head, fitting it firmly with his head, before pulling a cigar out of his Jacket pocket, and clipping the butt of it, then light it, putting it in his mouth, and taking a deep breath. He stood there, waiting for Daniel Steinert.

Hiya Guys, I just wanted to wish you all a very happy spring, and a wonderful summer to come, because summer means MORE SITE ACTIVITY, YAAAAY: D. Personaly, I think that this will be a great rest of the year for all of us, and as a fresh start, in light of recent CP competitions that ended in, what, a day? I’m starting a second competition, to celebrate my Birthday! which is on Monday, March 22nd. To get things started on this site, I’ve been starting some competitions, giving out random amounts of cp that don’t really need it, and starting countless parties in order to get this site moving along. If you all know me, and I’m sure you do, you know I’m not one to give out free CP to every sole on the site ( ), but doing competitions like this, I do make it veeeeeeeeery worthwhile to those who search. I think that our cash, erg, cp, here is more than just a little thing that lets you buy imaginary items for your imaginary character, but something that every single members works hard for, whether it be a hostile thread, Neutral Threads, or working for the better of the site, and my goal isn’t to simply…. Destroy, that key, locking myself in the money vault, so unfortunately I won’t be simply giving out Cp as a gift to you for my birthday. (Booo!) However, though, I’m gonna make ya’ll WORK for it! Heehaw --------- Birthday CP Hunt Are you listening closely? You are? Good, because I’m not repeating myself. Upon this site, I have seeecretly and stealthily hidden a few little pictures, which are worth considerable amount of cp. All members of the site are welcome to this competition, excluding myself, mainly because I know where everything is. Do not even think, for a moment, that they are going to be easy to find, because I learned from my last competition, things are NOT that hard to find, even though I thought I hid them well….. There are a total of FOUR hidden objects on the site, each worth more than the last. Now, below you will find a list, of the four items that I have secretly hidden around the site. They are in order of easiest to find, and lowest CP game, to hardest to find, and highest possible CP gain. • Balloon: - If you were are so lucky to find this Birthday Balloon hidden on the site, and post in this thread as fast as humanly possible, you will win 15 cp! Or, if you choose to gamble, a Prize, which could be anything from a pack of cigarettes, to a piece of candy, to a B-17 Bomber! - • Birthday Present: - If you are so lucky to find this present, and you post on this thread as fast as humanly possible, you will win 25 CP! , or, if you choose to gamble, a Prize, which could be anything from a pack of cigarettes, to a piece of candy, to a B-17 Bomber! • Birthday Cake: - If you are so lucky to find the Birthday Cake, you are in for one of the biggest possible treats on this site, assuming you posted on this thread that you’ve found this luscious cake first. If you find this, you will win 45 CP , or, like recently stated, if you choose to gamble, a Prize, which could be anything from a pack of cigarettes, to a piece of candy, to a B-17 Bomber! • Furey’s favorite Birthday Present: - - If you are soooo lucky to find this precious gift given to Furey for his birthday, a Ukelele Banjo, and assuming that you were the first to post here, you could win 65 CP, or, like recently stated, if you choose to gamble, a Prize, which could be anything from a pack of cigarettes, to a piece of candy, to a B-17 Bomber! ---------- Rules of My CP Hunt: • Now you know what's at stake, you must make sure to follow my simple, reasonably easy to follow, rules: - Once you have found one of the hidden objects above, you must post in this thread with the location of the hidden object immediately! If you are the first person to find the object, then you are the winner.
- There can only be one winner for each hidden object!!!! (Duh)
- As I have constantly preciously stated above, there can be only ONE winner for each hidden object, and you have the lucky choice of taking the amount of CP you won, or gambling it all for a Mystery Prize from the shop!!!!!!!!!
- Our staff area doesn’t have anything hidden in it, so don’t fret, I’m not that crazy, XD.
- I’m ordering you to Have Fun!, because that’s why I started this topic, aside from making people know it’s my birthday, of-course. XD
