Daniel made his way on a cold, dark night to a local bar. He was not going to get drunk, but to do some business. He had his men cover for him because technically he was not to leave camp. He carried a long rifle case with him. He walked in to the bar with nobody inside but the bar tender. The bar tender said with his French accent "That American armor sure is teaching Hitler a lesson." Daniel replied "Sure is." The bar tender led him to an empty room in the back and said "He will be with you shortly."
Daniel waited for only about 3 minutes before a shady character entered the room. Daniel had struck a deal with this man back in Paris. Daniel knew he was an air officer because he had seen his uniform in Paris. However now he wore only a large overcoat that was charcoal black. The Division was running short on tanks and his CO told Daniel to do whatever he could to get more. "So in exchange for this M3 stuart, I will give you whatever I get along the campaign until I pay off my debt?" "If you would like I could give you this fine souvenir as my first payment." Daniel pulled the G-43 sniper rifle out of a rifle case and set it down on the table.

Post by Furey "Blondie" Campellone on Feb 11, 2010 11:08:49 GMT -5
Furey’s jeep rode steadily down a quiet cobblestone street in France, a recent promotion had him wearing oak-leaves across his collar. As the wind blew through the part of his blonde hair that wasn’t covered by his Officer’s Visor cap, he felt the cold chill of the winter night.
As he continued to the bar, and soon arrived, he parked his jeep in-front of the bar, and pulled on a charcoal black overcoat, and walked into the bar. As he walked in, he breathed into his hands, attempting to warm them up, and looked at the Bartender, and nodded when he signaled the man was in a back room, waiting.
As he walked into the room, he instantly recognized the man, his name was Daniel Steinert, he’d met him in Paris, and in England. He looked at him as he pulled off his overcoat, and set it on the chair, taking a seat, and listening to him
When Daniel set the gun down on the table, Furey picked it up, carefully examining it, looking into the breech of the gun, examining the scope, and finally set it down, saying “Yes, this should bring a heafty price on the Black Market, I know someone who would be interested in this….”
Furey looked up at Daniel, staring at him for a long moment, before saying “I suppose that we can make a deal. This is worth a pretty penny, about two hundred dollars(20 cp). Ill enjoy adding this to my collection. I suppose we have a deal.”
He paused, and took the rifle, setting it on the ground, then looked up at Daniel, and said “Daniel, there is one final thing to know. The men above me do not take lightly to people who do not pay back their dews, now I’m on your side, but if you do not pay us back, I cant stop my commanders.”
He paused, and said “Follow me.”
He lead Daniel outside, and walked down a street, to where a large vehicle appeared to be covered by branches. He cleared them off, and what appeared was a large, Freshly painted, Black Stuart Light Tank, right off the Assembly line. Furey looked at Daniel, and said “Enjoy.” Before walking back to the bar to get his rifle, and drive back to the Airbase.
