Seargent Jimmy Kennith and his platoon walked through the main road to Seille. All of the soldiers were sort of high strung after the events of D-Day. Jimmy remembers dropping in a swamp and almost being drowned, but he was pulled out by two French Resistance soldiers. His BAR had hit the water, so it was damaged. But a Frenchman had given him a bolt action rifle, it wasn't until two days later when he met up with his unit that he had gotten a brand new one. The village was too quiet, but that was about to end. Suddenly, he heard a crack and saw a private fall down. "Sniper! Take cover!" ordered the Seargent. He had been the virtual CO of second platoon of D company, since they had not heard anything from the Major that was their original CO.
Jimmy then saw Krauts run for cover from a building near them to a wall in the yard of another. "Krauts at our twelve!" he yelled. Jimmy stood up from the small wagon that was giving him and six others cover. He shouldered his Browning and began firing a few rounds at German cover. Several other of the paratroopers began firing aswell. He went back into cover and heard another crack. Another American fell dead across the street from him. Where is that f**kin' sniper? He stood up and threw a grenade at the German position. It exploded and he heard screams of an injured man. Thats when he saw the glint of a scope on the morning sun. It was in the top window of the building the Germans were in. "Launch grenades over there!" the Seargent shouted, pointing at the window. He saw two riflemen screw on grenades and launch them. The window exploded and a helmet fell down.
Thats when an MG-42 was set up in the window of the neighboring building. It was in the window nearest to the main German position. Germans stood up and started firing. Jimmy and two other soldiers shot down a few of them. Then he heard a burst fire from the MG. It hit a soldier next to him and almost got him in the soldier. "MG! On our one!" shouted Jimmy. It wasn't long before the Germans had them pinned down in their positions. Jimmy stood up during the momentary cool down of the German gun and threw a grenade as hard as he could towards the window. It broke threw it and the Germans cried in suprise and ran out of the building, one of them was giving cover fire. They left the MG and it exploded out of the window, it hit one of the fleeing Germans. More Germans rushed in and threw grenades. A few hit next to Jimmy, but it only shook him, or so he thought. Two pieces of shrapnel the size of half-dollars hit him in the left arm, but his adrenaline was pumping.
Jimmy ordered cover fire and took two soldiers behind a building a few feet farther up. They barely dodged MP-40 fire. Jimmy set up his small band of soldiers and they began firing at the german positions. Jimmy killed two of the six Germans in the position. His other men killed three more. Jimmy ordered a grenade at the position and when it hit, he heard Germans scream in fright as it exploded, killing the rest. "Move up! On me!" Jimmy yelled tapping his helmet. They moved up to the house that was formerly the German main position only to dance around MG fire, once again. Two men were killed in the run for the building and three were injured. They took to the second floor and the medic began patching up the men. "Radio for help!" he called to his communications officer. The man began radioing. Jimmy knew they were outnumbered.

OOC: I'm not a Major but I will be some where separated from you il be your separated CO, we will meet up later but I will come in and talk about being dropped some where away from my Company.
Winters had been dropped way out of his drop zone and away from his company, he now was on his own with his 6 units. Winters was always alert because he knew that at any moment he could be ambushed and shot dead without a trace left of him. One of his units started blabbing about he was the best shot and could beat the shit out of any kraut he ever saw. Winters turned around and said " Will you shut the hell up!!, what are you trying to do, get us all killed?" then whispering "stupid moron" to himself.
Winter being the CO had a map fortunitly. He looked at it and decided to head to the nearest town which happened to be Seille. They had a heck of a ways to go. At the time dark fell they began to move more quickly under the cover of darkness. Then at early morning they began to slow down. The thin light of the sun began to trickle through the branches of the dense forest. Then light fell upon them.
Winters told his men to take 5. They threw their gear onto the covered pine needle forest floor. Winters did the same. With a sigh, he began to disassemble his M1 Carbine to prepare to battle in the town, he had thought the town was held by German forces. He orders all the Men to do the same thing and take more like 10 minutes instead of 5.

Winters had gotten his gear together along with his units when they heard extensive firing. It sounded like Allied weapons the closer firing did, so he decided he would move in. He finally got to the point of where he could see the town he pulled up his binoculars and surveyed the situation.
He noticed that The allies were pinned town just outside of the town and low on ammo. He had noticed a supply drop a few hundred yard back. Winters sent his 6 men back to retrieve more supplies after gathering a ton of grenades and thousands of rounds they began to move into their fellow members.
When they arrived they were greeted with a warm welcome, but were swarmed by soldier needing supplies, after several minutes all the supplies where handed accept for a few left. Winters greeted his Sergeant and complimented on how magnificent of a job he had down commanding the soldiers.
Winters then began to devise a plan of attack to take this town!

OOC: Are you going to fight this entire battle on your own? It seems you've dictated every action the Germans made. So, can we move back to the point of your first post, before you singe-handedly defeat the German army? I'll come in later to write the German side of it. thanks much, ~DvB p.s. I've made map of the battle so as to make it a bit easier to understand where people are. I've placed the German units on it, so I'll wait for the allies to place their forces before I write something. here's the link.

OOC: get ready I'm going to kick some ass. By the way, Winters would you mod-mark this, I don't want to have any bias as the axis attacker. Here's the map, have any questions? Ask me. The incessant crackling of machine-gun fire broke the lukewarm air as the thousands of bullets fired down onto the allies hiding behind the rubble in front of the buildings of the axis defence. Major von Bodenberg paced behind the two machine-guns in the centre building, looking coldly out the window onto the allies. He held his G43 at his side as he ordered Privates Kiermit and Blutik to continue firing on the allies alternately so that while one was reloading, the firing would not stop. Major von Bodenberg wanted to keep the allies suppressed so he could manoeuvre around them. He walked quickly around the L-shaped building to the third machine-gunner, Private von Bismarck, who was not firing. “Soldat, ich möchte Sie feuren auf die Amerikaner in daß Areal,“ he said as he pointed out to a position in the rubble straight ahead of Private von Bismarck. Major von Bodenberg knew exactly how he was going to win this battle. He yelled down to the soldiers on the first floor, “Soldaten, ich mag Privaten Grieter, Hidrit, und Hieglik aus da. Gehen um die Ecke und schleut ein Granate auf die Amerikaner.“ Three soldiers; Privates Grieter, Hidrit, and Hieglik, on the north-wing of the building grouped together and began movement forward. Dietrich then ran to the other side of the building and yelled down to Private Heydrik who was in the corner of the south-wing of the building, “Privat, gehen zu daß Hause und sameln fünfen männer und gehen zu die rechts Flanke. Machen ein Granate. Schnell!” Major von Bodenberg returned to the centre of the south-wing and looked on as the machine-gun fire continued. He made his usual cold grin, these Americans are so stupid, he thought. I shall triumph. He looked back and yelled out another order, “Soldaten, Bedeckungfeuren diese Männer”
Privates Grieter, Hidrit, and Hieglik collected themselves behind the barrier at the corner of the north-wing. Grieter whispered to the other two, “ich verängstigt sein,” as the three of them moved around the corner of the building and got on the other side of the rubble from the allies. They lay down on the rubble to stay hidden, all of them breathing quietly and deeply as they attached their bayonets to the ends of K98s. Private Hidrit, who was between the other two, then pulled out his only grenade. He unscrewed the cap on the end of the handle and pulled the porcelain ball, waited three seconds, and threw the grenade over the rubble toward the allies. The three Germans got their hands under their bodies and put their faces to the rock they were laying on as the blast went off. Meanwhile, Private Heydrik ran the 10 metres across the open area between the two buildings and arrived behind it where Private Jottel was standing guard. He looked at Jottel and yelled, “Komm mit mich, jetzt.” Jottel followed the order as the two soldiers rushed into the building next to them. There were three other soldiers in the building. One was covering a window to the east. The other two were in windows that would not draw fire. Private Hezdrik ordered the two of them with him and rushed out behind the barricade next to the building. He yelled over the machine-gun fire to the two soldiers behind the barricade to cover him and the other three as they ran to the rubble. Private Heydrik then ran, with the other three in tow, around the corner and into the crevasse between two piles of rubble. Laying down against the rock he and his comrades attached their bayonets to their rifles. Heydrik then took out his grenade and removed the cap on the handle, pulled the porcelain ball, waited three seconds, and threw the deathly explosive over the rubble pile. The four soldiers covered themselves and bowed their heads to the stone that would save their lives as they heard the report of the explosive over the continuous machine-gun fire. Translations:“Soldat, ich möchte Sie feuren auf die Amerikaner in daß Areal,“~Soldier, I want you to fire on the Americans in that area. “Soldaten, ich mag Privaten Grieter, Hidrit, und Hieglik aus da. Gehen um die Ecke und schleut ein Granate auf die Amerikaner.“~I want Privates Grieter, Hidrit, and Hieglik out there. Go around the corner and throw a grenade at the Americans. “Privat, gehen zu daß Hause und sameln fünfen männer und gehen zu die rechts Flanke. Machen ein Granate. Schnell!”~Private, go to that house and collect some men. Then, go to their right flank. Use a grenade, hurry! “Soldaten, Bedeckungfeuren diese Männer”~Soldiers, cover-fire for those men. “ich verängstigt sein,”~I'm scared “Komm mit mich, jetzt.”~Come with me, now!

Major Winters had knew something was up he had seen the German commander walking back and forth between the windows of the building with a funny grin, through his binoculars. Winters orders his men to stay low and watch for enemy troops.
Then he caught a glimpse of a squad moving in on them. "SHIT" winters said they were being surrounded. He yelled "HIT THE DIRT" as he saw a grenade sling over the rubble BOOM! the report was loud but fortunitly only sent shrapnel into one Man Pvt. Webster had a loud horrifying cry as the shrapnel sliced into his shin. Winter opened his first aid kit and threw some gauze and morphine to Pvt. Smith standing near by, "Here help Webster", said Winters. Smith replied " ok Yes Sir" Smith also appeared sacred stiff, this was his first time in real combat.
As Winers turned around He heard the loud report of another grenade on the other side of the company. Again Winters said "SHIT" and turned to run and check out the other soldiers. AS he approached he could hear two loud horrifying screams.
One scream was from a man who had had 2 of his fingers blown completely off the was from a man who had a piece of it in his head. Winter leaped over to the man who was injured in the head knowing this was the more serious of the injuries. Winters put morphine on him and began to bandage him , doing the best he could, But after several minutes of constant bleeding that Winters could not stop Private McMillan had died.
This was unfortunate but they couldn't cry over it because they are already putting their own lives in danger sitting, they had to do something.

Winters needed some other option. Thinking he remembered there being 2 Browning 30 Cal's, and a Bazooka At the supply dump. Winters turned around and told his squad of 6 to go back and get both browning 30's and the bazooka with as much ammo as they could carry for both. The men turned around and headed back into the woods. Pvt. Atwood turned over to Pvt.Bearss and asked "what do you plan to do once you get out of this mess?" Pvt. Bearss replied well " I want to open a gun store back in Massachusetts." "Sounds cool" said Atwood Atwood had no plans all he wanted to do was survive then he would plan the rest 80 years of his life. When they finally arrived at the Ammo dump Atwood grabbed one 30 Cal. Bearss grabbed the other each of the two holding 2 ammo cans along with the gun. Two of the other members grabbed 4 ammo cans each. One of the last two grabbed the bazooka and the last one grabbed a couple rounds for the bazooka and two ammo cans. They were confident this would score a victory over the opposing axis force. When they returned Winters greeted them back, and thanked them for getting the weapons and ammo, he gave them each a cigarettes and told them to take a break. Then WInters began thinking where would be the best to set up the weapons.

Jimmy had his men set up well. They had taken casualties, he heard Winters' orders to hit the dirt as Steil hand grenades hit their positions. The soldiers hit the ground and covered their heads. Jimmy stood up and yelled orders. "Larson, try and aim for that damn commander back there! I want him down!" he yelled to the sniper in their platoon. "Yes sir!" he yelled lining up his sight. He took a shot at the commander as he saw him pace. The young Corporal lead his shot to try and ensure accuracy. Jimmy took two soldiers and yelled orders. "Focus your fire at our four!" he yelled. Jimmy then took three others and had them focus their fire at the other emplacement of Germans outside near the rubble. He went over to the soldiers attempting to gun down the soldiers at their four o'clock. He popped up quickly, shooting his BAR.

****MODERATION POST**** Where the hell did that bazooka come from? Hell, if I knew I had a Panzerschreck or something I would have blow you all away by now. That being said:
-The sniper shot completely missed since DvB is no longer pacing and is not in view of a window (this could be considered god-moding)
-Due to the fact that you have your O'clocks incorrect it was hard for me to judge who you attacked. Your soldiers' firing did nothing more than intimidated the German soldiers hiding behind the rubble. Next post goes to me!

****MODERATION POST****
Bazooka came from a ammo dump thrown out of an airplane with the drop. You guys would not be supplied with Panzerschreck because you are just defending a building and you are not up against armor when Allied troops Airborne into Axis territory. And yes you should clear up who you shoot at you will have a better kill count that way!(Sergeant James Kennith)
Thanks,

OOC: The thick red lines represent the range of fire for the machine-gun since they are laying down a continuous suppresive fire.img525.imageshack.us/img525/4759/battlefieldsaenyn2fg3lpay8.jpgOberst von Bodenberg looked on as his troops hurled grenades into the Allied ranks; he was proud of his soldiers; they were living up to the name of their unit. A sniper shot immediately hit the wall behind Oberst von Bodenberg after the grenades went off. He went up to the window and pulled his binoculars to his eyes. He looked down on the allies; they were foolishly collecting in one place. It’ll be like shooting fish in a barrel, the colonel thought to himself. His grin came back as he thought of his plan. He let the binoculars down and ran to the third machine-gun that was not firing. “Ich brauche Sie zu gehen drunten. Gehen zu das Baulichkeit und einrichten die maschinengewehr in das Fenster.“ He needed a machine-gun to cover the right flank. Dietrich then ran back into the machine-gun area and gave new orders; he sent Private Gerster to barricade of the north-wing and ordered him to order the barricade guards, Privates Lieter and Jitrik, to move forward and surround the enemy on their left-flank. He then ordered Private Krijk to support the single man at the south-barricade since the previous guards had moved forward to take the enemy’s right flank. * Private von Bismarck carried the third machine-gun down the stairs and through the building. Its weight was bothersome, but he moved quickly with his ammo-man, private Licht, in tow. They hurried through the south-wing and crossed the open space to the second building. Private von Bismarck ordered the remaining soldier in there out and sent the message that the guards were to move forward and surround the enemy. Private von Bismarck then set up the MG42 in the end window and loaded it. He was ready to kill any American that came in his way. * Upon receiving orders from Private Jeiter, the two guards of the south-barricade grabbed their rifles and moved forward, fixing their bayonets in anticipation of the hand-to-hand combat to come. They move swiftly around the rubble and were joined by Privates Jottel and Heydrik as they got behind the trees and prepared for some sharp-shooting. They kept their rifles down, waiting for the right moment to shoot. * Private Gerster hurried down to the north-barricade and ordered the two guards to move forward and surround the enemies. Privates Kignet and Dieter took the order and fixed bayonets before moving forward and around the rubble to cover the left flank of the allies. The MG42s never stopped their hail of bullets on the allies, keeping their heads down. The two soldiers lay against the rock, waiting for the order to strike. * Private Jimit stood at the end of the building in the north-wing looking out the window to the allied troops. He brought his sniper rifle up and looked through the scope, seeing one soldier behind, in between two trees. He brought the cross-hairs to the man’s head before he took a deep breath and exhaled. He softly pulled the trigger of the K98, hoping to god, he had hit his target. * Oberst von Bodenberg looked out onto the battlefield. He could see German soldiers making their way around the enemy. He was sure victory would belong to Germany. He brought up his G43 in case he needed it and looked on, giving his men a slight rest before the final cut of the throat. Translations: “Ich brauche Sie zu gehen drunten. Gehen zu das Baulichkeit und einrichten die maschinengewehr in das Fenster.“~I need you to take your machine-gun down to that building and set it up in the end window to cover the right flank.

(OOC: No tanks neh? BWAHAHAHAHA!) Suddenly, appearing out of nowhere near the south building with the barbwire was a Tiger Tank. The monstrous thing made its 88 Cannon look directly at the amassed American paratroopers crouching behind the grey rubble, a few hundred meters 300 meters away.
Sturmbannführer (Major) Horst Von Epp peered through his sights inside the heavily armored turret and saw that everything was perfect. Though he couldn't see them directly, he decided that by firing an HE shell near them should at least thin down their ranks.
Loading an HE 88 Shell into the breech, which was designed to let loose a high explosive charge upon contact, the loader yelled "Ready!" and Horst shouted back "Fire!"
Instantly, the gunner beside him pulled the trigger and the 88 Cannon fired once, and letting off a thunderous "Boom", which created a small cloud of grey smoke and dust surrounding the Tiger Tank as the 88 HE Shell went flying away.
However, Horst miscaculated the width of the tree, and the 88 Shell took the tree in half, penetrating it but losing its power, thus shortening the distance of the shell, landing on ground 50 meters away from its intended target.
The shell exploded mightily and the metal casing from the 88 shell showered some of the Americans in a 40 meter radius, either injuring them with severe wounds or killing them off.
When the smoke cleared from his sights, Horst waited as the loader loaded another HE shell into the Tiger Tanks 88 Cannon. If the shock of the explosion did daze the Americans into feeling hopelessness, then the feeling of being surrounded will.
Horst knew that morale often played a key part in battles and he also knew that the Tiger Tank was a morale killer, being that it was feared among the Allies as a legendary monster. Even if these American troopers had an Anti-Tank weapon, which he doubted they had, he knew it could not penetrate the thick armored hull of the Tiger Tank, especially at the front where most of the armor was concentrated.
Meanwhile, from behind the Tiger Tank, a squad of Waffen SS troopers moved in to exploit the situation as dictated by their training by moving behind the American paratroopers through the forest, crouching low and blending in perfectly with the background due to their standard camo green uniform. Once within range of the Americans seconds after the 88 shell exploded earlier, they began firing behind the cover of tree's, some 70 meters behind the Americans with their Kar98 rifles along with the other Grey uniform Whermacht troopers.

***MODERATION POST***
-The 88 Shell from the tiger killed 3 allied troops and injured one everyone else is still ok. -Remember if your tank is destroyed here you do not have to by another one but your units are dead if they are killed you must purchase more. Sorry, I have to butt in. I redid the size of the tank and the movement lines for your troops Horst. According to the 'scale' of your explosion, your tank was 40 metres wide.
One more thing. The troops that ran the farthest, such as the green one at the tree directly behind the allies will be tired from the sprint since it was so long. Therefore, that trooper will have less accurate firing and the other troops that sprinted are still tired as well.
On my post before, a sniper fired. The shot took the ear off the soldier he was aiming at. I assumed the soldier would move out of the way if he heard the shot.
Thanks, DvB
