||~Opening Post~|| Steele rallied himself and his men -excluding the desert rats acompanying him and Zeke- and told the Sherman tank commanders to cut their engine, which might give away their position. His men were undoubtly jumpy today, and he didn't blame them. It was their first mission so-far, and had an extra boost in faith in the sergeant that was with them, as he appeared as a battle-hardened veteran himself. The desert rats were near or around a large rock ahead of them, with more dispersed around outside. Steele took a breath before he spoke, "Alright men..." A pause. "We move forward, and linger near the entrance; As you may or may not know...we are here to lighten the Kraut's hands by taking a few blueprints for a weapon, that frankly, command doesn't want on the loose anytime soon." He paused again and took a pull from his canteen, "Let's move out, Shermans, don't move yet until ordered." The party broke out in a silent jog, and went near-wards to the fenced entrance.

OOC: Hans/Stolz I Didnt Add You On The Map Cause I Didnt Now Where You Wanted To Be. When Your Done Editing The Map, Pm Me The Link. BIC: It had been so long since the scientist decided to create a new war machine. A new machine that would dominate the battlefield. Schmit had been thinking, could this test actually work? Can this be the new bully on the Battlefield? None of these questions could be answered untill the Scientists were done there examination. Schmit placed his hand upwards and pushes the Panzers Hatch open. Pearing out, Schmit looked around the scenary. To His left was the barracks and the Infirmary. To his right was the building holding the three " Tiger Tank " prototypes. Behind him was the Two storied bunker which held the Tiger Tanks schematics. Infront of him was two guard towers, A Large Wall With Barbed Wire on the top and a Closed wooden gate. Looking around Schmit had just started to have the heat kick in. Sweat started to roll down his face, heat waves had started to form in the air, and Schmit was starting to get dehydrated. Climbing back down into the tank, Schmit reached for his canteen, and took a drink from it. All of a sudden, Schmit felt a bit weird. He kept getting this message in his head, " Wollten Angegriffen Werden! ". Looking over to Mieth Schmit said " Mieth, Sind Wir Gut Auf Munition? ". " Ja Herr! ", Replied Mieth. " Gut Haben Kameraden, ich Ein Schlechtes Gefühl Um Etwas Erhalten... " Translations German - " Wollten Angegriffen Werden! " English - " Were Going to Be Attacked! " German - " Mieth, Sind Wir Gut Auf Munition? English - " Mieth, Are We Good On Ammunition? German - " Ja Herr! " English - " Yes Sir! " German - " Gut Haben Kameraden, ich Ein Schlechtes Gefühl Um Etwas Erhalten... " English - " Well Comrades, I Got A Bad Feeling About Something... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Post, Zeke Sturm!

OOC-Sorry its been a while, I've been banned from the compy for a weekend.
Zeke huddled down behind the tanks on the path, priming his BAR and pistol for firing. He ran to the rock next, peering around into the compound. The germans seemed to have sounded some sort of alarm. All the soldiers were on edge. Someone had probably been careless and not put out their cigarettes. He swatted one out of the mouth of a soldier next to him. It hissed on the ground, and went out. Idiots. You've given our position away to those dumkophs. He spat on the smoldering cigarette, and peered around the rock again. He would squeeze off a few shots, if it wouldn't give away their position. He was willing to bet they didn't know where they were. Someone had just gotten one of those gut feelings. Zeke edged into the jungle, around the rock, swatting mosquitos the size of his thumb. He blended well, so the germans would have trouble seeing him. He, however, saw both MG nests, and feared them. For good reason. If they weren't accurate, they'd make him into Swiss German. He began cursing in German under his breath. It was nearly impossible to take a fortified MG nest without help. He'd ask a desert rat or two, but he didn't really like them. They enjoyed poking fun at the fact that he himself was German. He was much more inclined to ask Steele and his men for help. He climbed over the rock, jumping down to the other side, and saluted Steele. Lieutenant. May I respectfully request aid in the sneak attack on the German base? He sincerely hoped that they would agree.

Hans Wagemuller had just gotten back from 6 weeks of sniper school. He came back to his unit with Private Karl Phfirstenhammer, his spotter. He was now in the Africa again. He was in his position. Hans aimed down his shiny gleaming scope toward the Allied line. through the scope he saw 2 Sherman Tanks and a few infantry members behind them. He could immediately see the officers by the brass on their helmets. Hans was standing up and studied his surroundings. He saw even more infantry coming with them. He was now studying the enemy and their movements. He had now seen many of the enemy. Hans now tested his very well oiled bolt so that no one would here the action of him reloading. His scope was well cleaned so he could see everything that was before him. He had a special scope that was given to him. It was the scope of a Springfield. Hans was now ready to hold off and entire enemy attack.
OOC: the scope was that with the same sights of a Springfield.

William wiped his forehead with his arm, he was sweating from the cruel heat of the sun and was dying to get this mission over-with. He was sitting in a ditch, which wasn't that pleasant. He had no clue how they were going to breach and complete the mission. All he really wanted was to keep his men perfectly safe. It was a miracle they had survived most of this campaign, he didn't plan on letting them die in an African ditch. He motioned for his men to stay as he moved forward to check with the CO. He saw Second LT Steele start moving towards the entrance. "Wonderful... now I don't know whats going on. Its clear the Germans know where we are." He motioned for his men to stand and run into the trees. They did as signaled. So now, a few minutes later, he isn't in a ditch... but in a jungle. I guess his situation slightly improved. He moved them up to a spot at the edge of the jungle and they watched. Not knowing what else to do.

Erich was in combat for his first time. He was driven to Africa with his close friend Hans Wagemuller. On the other hand Erich was striven to defend this Axis base until they would lose. Erich was busy sitting on some boxes oiling his Karbine 98K. He was loading up all of his equipment when he got news that an enemy column was coming. They had no information on the specs. he looked up to see dust coming from the road. He ran up to the schematics room and knocked on the door and gave the password. He then manned the Machinen Gewhr 42. He aimed down the cool crisp sights at the dirt road and at the forest. There he waited at the ready for any movement.

((So, post-turns is: Steele, Schmit, Zeke, Hans, Fox, and then it loops?)) Steele lifted himself up after the mini "Brief" he gave to Fox, and Zeke, aswell as the desert rats;he paused a bit before he moved on with his squad. "Sergeant, take a few of the desert rats up ahead in the road, and go on with the plan, and tell the shermans to keep a consessive fire in front of us while we have the chance." After that, Steele and his squad broke out in silence, and moved to the southern part of the fence. Steele saw that they passed several desert rats. Steele and the squad passed through forest, which relieved them slightly. When they reached the fence, the shermans were already firing straight ahead, which caught the attention of the germans. They began to dig a trench under the fence. Several minutes passed, and the hole was big enough so that one man could go in and out quickly. Once the second man (A Corporal) was on the other side, did Steele believe that the germans now knew where they were. A man of the squad stood in a few seconds later than the rest to dig in the hole. He didn't want to think that they'd have to use it as an exit. He threw in his smoke grenade far enough in the middle of the dirt-path entrance, and he believed he heard gunfire was pouring into the smoke from both sides. Then, he and his squad sneaked inside the compound, and hid on the left side of a building (Barracks). The squad squatted and pressed against eachother and kneeled behind the lower left corner wall outside of the building, and heard a german's footsteps. Steele guessed that in a few seconds, he was going to come and turn the corner. Steele edged himself closely the corner, and the moment he did...the German came from the corner. He neatly, but quickly pulled him in, and slid his bayonet right beneath his shoulder plate. The German died quietly, which was a relief. Steele remembered the day his training sergeant taught him how to kill a soldier quickly and silently: Stabbing him beneath the shoulder plate, and shoving in the knife as deep as you can so you can puncture the lungs, leaving him wordless. It took a few seconds before the corpse stopped twitching though, and Steele shook it off. He paused and awaited Zeke, Fox, and the Desert Rats to continue with their part of the plan.

-------------------------- Moderation Post ---------------------------- - Digging A Hole Under The Fence, Steele Had Successfully Entered The Base Unseen.
- Throwing A Smoke Grenade Into The Path Had Successfully Blinded The German Forces, But Blinded There Own Tanks Aswell.
- The Patrolling German Soldier Had Not Been Killed Because, When shots Were Fired, Both Patrolling Soldiers Immidiatly Had Taken Defensive Positions.

(( OOC: Yup, Steele Is Right, We Just Keep Going Around Until The Thread Is Done. Also Guys I Wanna Apologise For Taking So Long. Sorry. )) Making his comment to his crew, Schmit popped back out of the tank. Looking over to the side of his tank, Schmit could see the Marks of how many Allied Tanks He Destroyed back in his young days. He Started to Count, 1 2 3... All of a sudden The Alarm was sounded and The Two Towers Started To Open Fire. Looking around so Quickly, A Soldier had ran over to Schmit panting. " Herr, Es Scheint, Wie Unter Angriff Durch Verbundene Kräfte Waren! ". " Widerstand? ". " Nicht Zu Sicherem Herrn Vielleicht Eine Firma der Fußtruppen ". Immidiately After The Soldier Replied, 2 Tank Shots Were Fired Into The Door, Ripping It To Peices. Schmit Thought To Himself, With His Experience, It Sounded Like a 75mm Cannon. Probabaly From A M4 Sherman. Shouting Down To The Soldier, " In Ordnung, Gut Dass Ertönt Hat, Wie Ein Sherman. Ich Will Sie Zu Erzählen, dass Die Jungen Im Bunker Die Schematischen, Die Hölle Aus Hier Erhält! ". " Ja Herr! ". Quickly, The Soldier Ran Off To The Bunker. Schmit quickly climbed Back into the tank closeing the hatch behind him. " Herr, Was Aus Dort Weitergeht? ". Shouted Shaffer. " Brunnen War Unter Angriff Durch Verbundene Kräfte ". Replied Schmit. " Sollten so Was Wir Herr Machen? ". " Gut Hier Wollen Usa Das Flugzeug, Weinrich, ich Sie Zu Feuern Als Viele Runden, Als Sie An Den Sherman Tanks Können, Schaffer ich Will Sie, Jenes Pfadmaschinengewehrfeuer in Ordnung Zu Bedecken?". " Ja Herr! ". In Seconds The Crew Did as they were told, Schaffer had already threw the dirt in the air, and Weinrich had Already thrusted the tank. All Of A Sudden a Smoke grenade flew through the air, landing infront of the 2 Guard Posts. Sparks went off, and a burst of white smoke exploded into the air, creating a blinding wall. Schmit reacting quickly, Schmit said to Weinrich, " Dort Wahrscheinlich Bewegen Die Tanks Vorder, Schießt Von von links nach rechts ". Getting The Message, Weinrich rotated the turret from left to right, fireing random shells through the smoke. All of A Sudden A Big Boom Roared and dust lifted into the air, it was all silent for a second. As the sound stopped the Smoke started to go away. Looking through a open metal flap, Schmit could see that a Giant Rock Had Fallen onto the path. It was so big, that it could block the path of both sherman Tanks. Smileing as he saw this, Schmit had checked something to himself. " 2 Shermans Hinunter, Eine Firma der Fußtruppen, Zu Gehen ". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Translations German - " Herr, Es Scheint, Wie Unter Angriff Durch Verbundene Kräfte Waren!" English - " Sir, It Seems Like Were Under Attack By Allied Forces! " German - " Widerstand? " English - " Resistance? " German - " Nicht Zu Sicherem Herrn Vielleicht Eine Firma der Fußtruppen. " English - " Not To Sure Sir, Possibly A Company Of Infantry ". German - " In Ordnung, Gut Dass Ertönt Hat, Wie Ein Sherman. Ich Will Sie Zu Erzählen, dass Die Jungen Im Bunker Die Schematischen, Die Hölle Aus Hier Erhält! ". English - " Alright, Well That Sounded Like A Sherman. I Want You To Tell Those Boys In The Bunker To Get The Schematics, The Hell Out Of Here! ". German - " Herr, Was Aus Dort Weitergeht? ". English - " Sir, Whats Going On Out There? ". German - " Brunnen War Unter Angriff Durch Verbundene Kräfte ". English - " Well Were Under Attack By Allied Forces ". German - " Sollten so Was Wir Herr Machen? ". English - " So What Should We Do Sir? ". German - " Ist gut, Hier Der Plan, Weinrich, ich Wollen Sie Zu Feuern Als Viele Runden, Als Sie An Den Sherman Tanks Können, Schaffer ich Will Sie, Jenes Pfadmaschinengewehrfeuer in Ordnung Zu Bedecken? ". English - " Well, Here Is The Plan, Weinrich, I Want You To Fire As Many Rounds As You Can At Those Sherman Tanks, Schaffer I Want You To Cover That Path Machine Gun Fire Alright? ". German - " Ja Herr! " English - " Ja Herr! " German - " Dort Wahrscheinlich Bewegen Die Tanks Vorder, Schießt Von von links nach rechts ". English - " There Probably Moving The Tanks Forward, Shoot From Left To Right. " German - " 2 Shermans Hinunter, Eine Firma der Fußtruppen, Zu Gehen ". English - " 2 Shermans Down, One Company Of Infantry To Go ". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Winters, If You Can, Please Mod-Mark My Post? ****MODERATION POST**** - OK, its gets really hard to mod mark when there gets to be ALOT of offensive action in one post. As does this one its kinda gets confusing.
- As for one Sherman you have blown up and killed its occupants. Most Sherman operators wouldn't be that dumb. So I will let only one tank slide to even the odds. Also saying that that tanks were dead is a form of god modding because, you are against them and you can't necessarily say that they are dead. Anywho one tank is still running and hasn't advanced very far.
- SO one tank down another and a company of Infantry to go.
- Also the Allies are able to catch the skematics. They can't just all of a sudden run off the map. You may re hide them and PM me a map of their location, but you cant just run off the map with them.
Thanks, ~Austin![/color]
