This is both a topic to judge about how many people are truly active, and what people think of this idea.
I've talked with my fellow staff members about this idea for some time, and i think it's finally time for me to ask you, our loyal members, about it.
We've been thinking about adding the possibility for a Leader, such as Winston Churchill, Adolf Hitler, Franklin Roosevelt, or generals like Patton, Rommel, Judl, ect. ect. to Send soldiers Private Messages about Top Secret missions that they should do, say, having them be Search and Destroy missions for demolition experts, Assassinating an enemy officer for snipers, ect.
What do you guys think? I know its a bit jumbled up and not really explained out, but its an idea for a site that can't really stay very active for long periods of time.

I'm against it because it would then rule out the reason why this place is a Role Playing Game because there would be the few that don't create their own character, and I know myself would not be pleased with this, but if everyone wants this, then I believe because the players want it, it should be here.

These characters would be represented by the staff as a whole, and not someone who makes the character up or just acts on it.

I can understand giving some direction to the site, since it seems to have none. However, a repeating time-line might work better than having staff controlled players. I've seen other sites go down that road and it was not pretty. I think if you put a repeating time-line, say 1939 (with US) to 1946 (since Germans don't have the added hindrance of their leader). I think this would achieve the same thing you're looking for. In any case, when everyone has the opportunity to direct gameplay instead of just the staff, things tend to run better.

It would be interesting to experiment with, but it should be refined, and tested out with only a few people, to see if it could really work, in my opinion.
