The next day after a long nights rest Winters returned to the range for some more practice. He figured it wouldn't hurt to have a little practice every now and then. Winters stepped up the firing line and raised up his Thompson. He looked down the cold iron sites and smoothly aligned them with the head of the Nazi-Like Target. Z-Z-Z-I-P He let of a 3 round burst. 2/3 the three shots took a direct hit to the head, the other hit his shoulder. Not bad for a Sub-Machine Gun thought Winters. He then held up the Sub-Machine Gun and aimed at the target. Knowing he would get some attention, he let the whole 30 round clip empty. "Yeee-Haaw! That's how the 10st Does it! Shouted Winters. It was as if the range went silent everybody was looking at him. Then they broke out in laughter and and begin shouting back at him. Winters was laughing over some of the hilarious comments he got back. Winters then looked over after the laughter had calmed and noticed, who he thought was Private James, He was hitting his mark every time. Winters looked closer and sure enough it was James. Winters walked over to him and said "Boy!, your one hell of a shot nice shootin, your James..... Harland!, I Presume? Winters voice echoed.

"I am sir" James said as he saluted. "It just takes a little practice" James said as he looked down his iron sights and fired a shot hitting the target in the forehead. James had plenty of training and practice with rifles, he was trying to shoot while blind folded, but it wasnt working out very well.

William didn't laugh. He often didn't laugh during something this serious. People didn't realize it, but soon enough they'd be doing this same thing to real people. It wasn't a laughing matter. He fired the rest of his clip before reloading. He noticed James doing well, but he should concentrate on his own men. James wasn't his soldier, it was impressive none the less but not something he should pay much attention to. Jealousy can make people do stupid things, stupid things make people die. He fired again, finishing a circle shape in the target's chest. He smiled, he often did this unintentionally. He nearly burst out laughing at the thought of Nazi medics finding a dead soldier with a circle in him. Somehow the concept amused him. He reloaded and kept fired.

James pulled the trigger on his M1, and sent 5 bullets flying down range. Each one hit diffrent locations, 3 in hte face, 1 in the right eye, and one in the jugguler. James fired the last 3 bulets into the targets head, then reloaded his rifle. After reloading, James looked around, then looked back at his target, and continued firing, and continued hitting the target in the head.

Walking through the fields, the smell of gunpowder filled the First Sergeant's nostrils, as he walked to the Shooting Range. Slung over his shoulder, was one of his favorite weapons, his Springfield... Except something was missing.... The scope.
Several men saluted him as he walked past, giving little to no regard to them, all he said was "As you were". When he reached the field, he shrugged his shoulder and caught the falling rifle, raising it up to his shoulder. Slipping the five round stripper clip into the top, Williams pulled back on the cold iron bolt, followed by pushing it forward. Lining the sights up, Williams took aim and fired once at the target. Pulling the bolt back and pushing it forward once again, Williams aimed at a different mark, and fired.
Three more times, Williams repeated this and pulled out the clip. Looking at the target, he didn't even have to guess where the shots went, he simply knew. One in the forehead of the target, one between the eyes, one in the throat, one in the heart, and one in the lung, all exactly where he wanted them to go.
If there ever was a day that was decent in the First Sergeants sorry ass life, this was probably the day.

William fired constantly. When his clip ended he put a new one in but didn't fire. He looked up at the sky, planes flew over head, air-raid sirens blew all over the base he ran to the nearest bunker with his men in tow and slid inside, the door closing behind him. When the bombs started dropping he simply watched from a window.

James had ran in with the Lt. James was crouching, with his left knee on the ground, and M1 in hands with a full clip. James strapped on his helmet, and checked to make sure that it was on right, and in good condition, he had seen a few other soldiers use thier helmets for pots, and buckets. "Hey, where's the Colonel?" James asked as he looked around, and didn't see the Colonel.

William pulled him into the bunker as a bomb nearly killed him. "What the hell are you doing?!?! Its a god damn air-raid! You can't space out like that!" William checked to make sure his men were okay. A large explosion was dangerously close to the bunker. The men were nervous. "Lets just hope they don't get any direct hits."

'Oh... Yeah.. My hearing is pretty much blown from your damn grenade going off practically by my ear it seemed..' said Williams, as he looked around. 'Whattaya know... An air raid... And I thought this was a friendly place... Son of a bitch!' thought Williams to himself, as he attached the sight to his rifle. Pulling a clip out, and jamming another in, Williams took aim at the nearest plane.

James was listening to the falling bombs, there was a lull in explosions. "Sir, you here that" James said as he moved closer to the Lt. James looked at Williams, he was shooting really good down on the ranges. James hopped that the Colonel had gotten to safety. James looked down at his M1, then looked out the window.

Winters was astonished they had been told this camp was totally safe, he immediately, ran towards the near by building. He Dove inside and ducked down. He was totally amazed that they would be attacked this far out of the enemy's way. Finally after what felt like hours it had begun to slowly stop. Although only being minutes, he emerged from the shelter the damage was immense but fortunately no one was hurt, hell they even killed the targets of them selves but not a single Allied harmed, "Morons cant even hit a whole damn camp full of Allies" Winters said

James slwoly walked outside, crouching, and rifle raised, scaning the horizon. "Sir" James said as he snapped into a salute as he saw the Colonel. James looked around the camp, the camp looked pretty bad. James was glad that nobody was hurt, and he got to live another day.

'What a pain in the ass' thought Williams, as he looked around, all his men were there. "Hoorah!" shouted Williams, followed by the loud shouts of his 13 men shouting the same thing. 'As you were boys.' shouted Williams, once again removing the sight from his gun as he left the bunker.
Saluting the Colonel, the only works that escaped his lips were 'Sir!'
