Tech Sergeant Johnathan Whitmoor was awed at how big a shooting range could be. The old base that he was stationed at had nothing compared to this one. At his old base it was 2 wood boxes wit a scarecrow at 100 yards that got changed every week, but here, it was huge. He then remembered while he was here, and got out his Lee Enfield Mk 4. Grabbing an empty spot, John sat down, and set his M1 down on the shelf in front of him. Grabbing a box of 50 bullets that were marked ' For Official Use Only', he put 10 bullets into the breech, and adjusted the sights to what he thought was the best place to have them. He stood up, picked up his rifle, aimed down the sight, and pulled the trigger. When nothing came out, he realised that he hadn't pulled the trigger all the way. He pulled the trigger all the way and this time a bullet came whizzing out, and missed by about 10 inches to the left. He adjusted the sights, and fired again. Another miss. He did this for 3 magazines, and still he kept missing. At home, he was a pretty good hunter, but this Lee Enfield couldn't hit a horse if it were 2 inches from the barrel. John threw the rifle down in disgust, and sat down on the bench.

Lance Corporal Jason Morgan was waiting for the authorization to join the 101st Airborn unit. He was told by an official that he could look around the campus and use anything he wanted. The first thing Jason wanted to see was the shooting range, so Jason went there in first place. Jason tried not to run, but he was very anxious (after all, he loved weapons) and ran the last 100 meters until arriving the shooting range. When he arrived there, he noticed that it was almost empty. It only had one man sitting on one bench. Jason realized that he was a Sergeant, by seeing the insignia on his shoulder.
- Good afternoon Sergeant!- Jason said. - Good afternoon- he answered.
Jason didn't owned any weapon, so he walked in the direction of a box that contained some old weapons. There was a huge variety of weapons, sub-machine guns, machine guns, rifles and sniper rifles... He touched and analyzed every weapon. They were all in bad shape: rusty, jammed, and some weapons were even broken. After searching for a while, Jason decided to pick up a PPSH that was in good shape, and then he moved for an empty spot. Jason crouched, looked through the iron sight and fired in full auto. He was so happy that he didn't resisted to empty the 70 round magazine on the target, that was 35 meters away. After that, he landed the gun and grabbed the binnoculars. Then he analyzed the target. Of all the shots, only 55 bullets hitted the target. Jason landed the binnoculars, picked up the weapon again, reloaded it and then he rested a while. When he looked to the left side, he saw that the Sergeant was still sitting on the bench with the weapon on the ground, on his side... Jason went near him, stopped in front of him and then he asked: - Sir? Is there something wrong?

John, in all his frustration, did not notice the Lance Corporal, who accidentially snuck up on him. He jumped out of his seat, and toppled to the ground, creating a huge dust cloud in the process. In the distance, he could hear the ammo dealer laughing heavily, and that made John angry. He got up, brushed off his uniform, and pulled out his knife as he walked toward the ammo dealer. He got out of that booth, and ran all the way to the barracks. John turned back around, and with an accidential degree of hostility still in him, responded to the Lance Corporal. "What do you want, boy? Why you here in the first place, and what happened to your weapon?"

Daniel was just out and about, planning on running some rounds through his new M3 grease Gun. As he walked into the range, he never noticed how big it actually was. The day at the range wasn't particularly busy, only maybe a dozen men there trying to practice aiming. He sat down at an empty booth and ran 60 bullets through. The weapon was his first fully automatic weapon and it was a bit hard to control. The first three or so rounds went right on target, but when the dust and smoke kicked up, he couldn't see a thing. Daniel decided to just do three round bursts. The newly acquired method of shooting was quite effective, so effective that Daniel went up to the ammo counter to get another 60 rounds.
However when he got up, he saw a Brit, and a sergeant in some sort of argument. Daniel went over and asked "Is there a problem over here?" He noticed that the sergeant seemed really pissed off at the Brit and he seemed to have fallen down due to all of the dust and such on his uniform. Daniel thought "The Brits should know better than to try and mess with the Americans"

Jason saw the Sergeant with the knife on his hands, asking Jason what he was doing there and what happened to his weapon. Jason looked directly on the sergeant eyes, while he answered confidently: - I'm Lance Corporal Morgan. An officer told I could use anything I wanted, while they took care of my enlistement. And this weapon isn't mine, I took it from that box- Jason said, pointing to the box. - It's full of useless weapons, sir. Rusty, jammed, and even broken... This one is one of them. It was the best one I found there... Jason saw another man asking if there was any problem. Jason thought in ignoring him, but he didn't want to start a conflict, so he answered: - No there isn't any problem... When Jason finished talking with the Sergeant and the other soldier, he moved to his station, picked up the PPSH, pulled the breech and then he shooted 10 bullets in full auto. Then he looked to them and said: - Well, are ya gonna join me or not? OOC: Crap, I had to modify the post... If there is something that doesn't make any sense, pm me please. Thanks =3

John listened to the British Lance Corporal, and slowly got out of his anger. He turned to the newcomer, who looked Asian, and responded, "No, there is not any problem. I was angry at the ammo dealer, and I guess some of that anger washed off onto the Lance Corporal." John walked over to the station that the Lance Corporal was on, and sat down next to him. "Hey, I'm sorry about yelling at you a minute ago. I don't have anythning against the British, just the ammo dealer over there." John pointed to the ammo dealer, who was curled up in a ball, rocking back and forth, and sucking his thumb. John got up, and walked to the phone in the ammo booth. "I'm gonna call the medics, get this guy out of here." He thought for a minute, and after placing the call, he walked back to his original station, and loaded another 10 rounds into the Lee-Enfield. "Lance Corporal, uh... I never got your name." He turned to the Asian soldier. "I never got your name either."

"Oh, my bad. I'm Daniel Steinert, part of the 1st armored" said Daniel as he shook the sergeant's hand. Daniel decided to switch stations to be closer to men he had just met. He quickly ran back to his station, grabbed his m3, and went behind the ammo counter and got 4 magazines. He sat down at the station next to the Brit and loaded another magazine into his m3. He said to the two others "Hey want to have a contest to see how many of those bottles we can hit? I'll only shoot once at a time."
