OOC: we are going to start the RP in here, if you signed up, you know who you are. Niklas pulled up his pants, taking his time to get dressed, nothing important was going to happen today. Sure there had been rumors about Allie soldiers in the area, but he didn't believe them. He finished getting dressed and looked around the barracks, <Another boring day, maybe I'll spend it shooting at the damn vermin> He soon walks out into the cold air, the sun was not up yet. He could barely see twenty feet in front of him. He yawns and turns to look at the six other men with him. <So, why are we out this early?> Dierk Metzger asked. <Because some one is paranoid> He replies

John looked across the river from his bush just inside the forest. He was scared. "In fact scratch that" he thought. He was sh*ting himself. This was going to be his first time in combat. And further more, his first time in combat would be leading a group of six men, possible to there deaths he thought grimly. Trying to shake this last terrifying thought from his head he brought his Lee Enfield to the aim. Looking down his shaking iron sights he examined the buildings across the river. "Don't worry" he thought to himself "just think about what you learned at sandhurst." He was doing a quick count in his head. Trying to count up all the men they had observed in the town across the river over the last few days. "So, we have 30 men and they have 24" he murmured to himself. Finally an uplifting thought. But then another thought came. "How many men are we going to loose crossing that river?" The group of people on this side of the river, the men he was about to trust his life to, had only met 4 days ago. They had been cobbled together to attack this small out post. There was a yank, Troy or something like that, a jap and a bunch of other yanks he thought were from 2nd division. He heard footsteps behind him, crunching on the fallen October leaves. "Alright mate" said the voice of his brother behind him. "Hey Jack, any news" replied John. "Attack is in 15 minutes, apparently the signal to attack is the sniper firing." Said his brother dropping down into the forest bush next to John. John looked at the sniper to his left hidden just behind a tree, John just hoped to hell that he was good. "So" said Jack in a voice John could tell was barley concealing fear. "Got a plan?" "Well" said John, he had been thinking it over but, so far had come up with nothing. "I thought we could run up to the river, without getting shot by some Nazi, they jump in and wade across, with out drowning or dieing of hypothermia, then jump out and run up to those buildings, with out getting torn apart by machine gun fire, and then i was gunna clear all the buildings single handedly" said John, smiling as he said it. "I do love it when your sarcastic" said Jack smiling as well. "So wheres everyone else?" Asked John, "they were just behind me" his brother replied. A few seconds later John heard footsteps behind him and several bodies get onto the floor. He turned, it was the rest of the squad, "alright guys?" He got a load of grunts in reply. "Funny" thought John "these must be some of the most talkative guys i know and some of my best mates. Strange how an imminent battle strickens a man to silence." They sat there in the dim light of the rising sun, the morning dew seeping through there cloths and onto there skin, freezing them "i suppose it doesn't matter" thought John, looking at his watch and then the river, in 12 minutes time we will be getting a lot wetter... //*-+-*// Jmac //*-+-*//

OOC: Ok if I mess something up please tell me guys....This is my first battle post....just a question. I am only controlling my guy right? I haven't bought anyone so ....I am just one guy right?
The wind would cool his body down as it crashed into the salty warm sweat that rested on the back of his neck just above the rim of his collar. Wiping the sweat away from his eye's before it would crash down into his pupils. "Hm...This is the first time that I have been on the battle field in the last three months" Fox would speak quietly to himself. Looking around to area as he scanned over all of his follow members. Damn...I hope that they all know what they are doing......I pray for their safety as well
Fox would let out a small sigh as he finished praying for his life along with the rest of the brave men that traveled though out the cold forest on that early morning. Looking down at his Lee Enfield MK4 and checking to make sure that it was loaded and ready to fire he would smile with a sad intent.
How do I know if this is going to be my last adventure or not? Grabbing around his cross that hung from his necklaces he would close his eye's as he would pray one last time. "Get a hold of yourself 1st Sergeant.....Just stick to the training and listing to order and give good orders....You will make it out of this."
Taking in one deep breath he would then lean over to the side as he laid down an the tree trunk in the bushes.

The river was rougher then ever. Antonio knew it was due to the wind. He was in the far bunker with windows facing the west near the river. He looked at the bushes above the bunk. They were shaking with business and excitement today. He observed them closely. He was lonely that day. He was assigned to the bunker on trumped up charges. He was blamed for stealing liqueur in the barracks. He expected the Germans to pick on him. Now he was stuck in a bunk on the border with an German soldier. He didn't make eye contact with the man Antonio just kept his eyes glared out of the window. He felt the bushes and trees move. He wished he had a pair of binoculars so he can get rid of his paranoia. He felt no reason to ask any other Germans as they filled the two bunkers. He got out of the bunker and walked up the pavement slowly and walked to the edge. No later than in a minute he ran back to the bunker. Antonio cursed did he see a ghost of what, he thought to himself. He tried to get the Germans attention and show him the 'ghosts' he didn't know if he looked or not as after showing he sat below the window and took his gun and pistol out and loaded it. After putting his weapons back and stared one more time out of the window. He was sure he was seeing things more. He gulped and tried to persuade the German soldier to come look out the window maybe show him the moving bushes. (OOC:Here is the map i made the text a bit better ))

He stretched before looking out twords what should be the river. It had to have only been about twenty minutes sense he woke up. He lead the men over to the paved road running parallel to the river and had them keep a look out for anything on the other side. It wasn't like that was going to help though, no one could see half way across. After a couple minutes he walked over to the barracks and leaned against the wall, Eduard and Albrecht soon joined him, <What do you two think?> he asked as he leaned his Mauser against the wall next to him <Well, if they do attack it wont be pretty. I wouldn't have much luck for hitting any thing at this time> Eduard glanced over his shoulder as the other men talked among them selves. Niklas gave a quick shout and the other four returned there gaze to the river, then looked back at Eduard and Albrecht. <I wouldn't worry, as much as I would love to do some fighting, I don't think they would have the guts.> There was a bright light as several lights where turned on, scanning the river. <The least they could do is give us a seconds notice before doing that.> Albrecht covered his eyes, he had been looking almost directly at one of the lights. Niklas chuckled as the three returned to scanning the bank, now able to see small patches where the light went. Soon Dominik called him over as he thought he saw a bush move. <there's some thing over there.> He raised his Mouser and Niklas did likewise. <Every one stay sharp, but as I said, it's probably nothing.> Niklas watched the spot that was pointed out to him.

OCC : Who is in charge of NPCs? "2 minutes" thought John looking down at his watch, the fear in the pit of his stomach getting worse and worse. Ryan came running back after being gone for about 5 minutes and dropped down behind John. "Change of plane" said Ryan in a harsh whisper "sniper says it to dark for him to shoot at the moment, attack is still at the same time, but silent routine until we get spotted." "OK, thanks Ryan" said John looking into the darkness. He looked down at his watch, 1 minute, his heart was going overtime, yet everything seemed to be going in slow motion. As he watched the second hand move slowly round the clock face. As the second hand got to the the 10 he said "good luck lads" to his squad behind him "go." They all jumped up, and started a half sprint forward, making as little noise as possible, moving through the cold morning air in complete darkness to were the river should be. John reached it first, feeling the mud get softer and softer as he got closer. He fell to his knee at the edge of the river and heard his squad stop all around him. He looked at them, or as much as he could make out of them in the darkness. "ready?" John just hoped the rest of the force was moving forward as well us seven. "Lets go...and avoid those search lights boys" he took his first step into the freezing water. //*-+-*// Jmac //*-+-*//

Rolf was standing there, by the freezing river, in a small bunker, with 2 of his men. Rolf was freezing in that small little building, if it could be called a building. The other 4, he had ordered to be with the engineers, in a nearby bunker. He walked up to Heer-Anwärters Judas Speer and Paul Berlitz, who were playing some game on the ground with some chalk they found, it looked like tic-tac-toe. "Hey," said Rolf. The Heer-Anwärters hurriedly jumped up, and gave the Hitler salute, saying 'Heil Hitler!" "At ease Heer-Anwärters," said Rolf. They relaxed. "I'll give 50 Reichsmarks to whoever goes down to that river, and swims for 20 minutes, without getting out," joked Rolf. The Heer-Anwärters laughed at this joke. Rolf opened a window to check to see if there was a bird out there, which he thought he heard. But all he heard was a few splashes. He remembered a battle in which his friends platoon got decimated because he thought a splash was just a fish. "Hey, Speer, get over here," ordered Rolf. "Go down to the river, and tell us what you see there." "Yes sir!" exclaimed Speer, and headed down to the river, forgetting his rifle. Rolf saw this, and yelled, "Hey Speer, get your rifle!" But Speer didn't hear Rolf.

Fox would move his body around slightly as he watched over the river. He wasn't for sure why every axis solider was examining the river bed so well. Damn Nazi bastards.......They have nothing better to do rather than just stare out at the flowing river? Hmph....They would be in the front leaning rest position for sure if they was with me.
Scratching his right nostril as his head leaned down. His eye's would scan the area as he looked over the autumn leafs that was laying all around him. Hm....better not forget about them..... Fox though to himself as he didn't want to step on the leafs and alarm anyone.
He would cough a little as he laid there and waited for the right moment to strike the enemy camp. All of the sudden he would then notice that some one was marching down the hill. A Scout?Fox would then grasp his Lee tightly as the cold steel would alarm him and fully awaken him. Raising the weapon up close to his eye where he could then look though the sight.
It would be a little bit away but he could see who he was looking at. He would place his sights out on the man's chest. I need to be ready to take a shoot at him if he try's anything funny.....I hope he doesn't......We are not ready......
The bushes raddled slightly as Pvt. Smiddy moved around."Smiddy cease to move!" Fox said in a loud and demanding voice."Are you trying to get us all killed!" Turning his head to the voice of one of the other pvt.'s as they spoke out. "Sergent? What's our orders? The enemy is advancing on us....Shouldn't we get prepare to attack?"
"Yeah...And give our position away? They don't know that we are here it would be best to keep it that way." David would then lean around and look over his shoulder back at Nate. But If he finds us then we are dead for sure." By this time Nate was done past his limit on this conversation as he would much rather watch the enemy and live. Look buddy! If we shoot him then we alarm every one else up on the hill. Then what? They gun us all down and kill us all?"
"Ok guys calm down. David! Wait for orders before doing anything ok? Nate fall back and move over towards the river bank and report what all that you can see." "Understood sir!"Nate would then stand to his feet as he dodged around the fallen leafs. He would then lay down next to the tree as he would then raise his scoped M1 Carbine up to his eye. He would then begin to examine the area up above the solider and around the hillside.
"Creekmore....I want you to move over with Myers and stand guard. If he finds anything useful I want you to bring it back to me pronto. Understood?" Creekmore would quickly reach his feet and hunkered under the branches and rushed over to Myers. "Understood Sergent! Wiping dripping nose as he turned to the other two he would then speak out. "Smiddy! Brummet! I want you two to make your way over towards the other soldiers and listen and and report anything that is useful to us from them. Now move out! Turning over his shoulder and looking at Teague he would then speak in a soft tone voice to him. Now your going to stay right here with me and watch the enemy. Don't move and don't talk unless needed."
Sir! There is sitting up in the window looking down here.Fox would then nod his head as he heard the report from Myers. Damn....what now.... Fox would just grip his rifle tight as he waited longer for anything to happen.
" Private Smiddy here to report any useful knowledge back to the 1st Sergent if needed" The solider would say to another one as he reached him. OOC: I will control 5 NPC's
Private - John Smiddy Corporal- Nate Myers-----------------Sniper Private - Steven Creekmore Private - David Teague Private - Shawn Brummet

Antonio wandered around the bunker. He eventually sat down on the near the bunker and fell asleep. His gun near him, he wandered in the world of dreams. After being awakened minutes later. He knew something was up as the people in the other bunker was restless too. After having nothing to do. He walked up to the to the searchlight ignoring the Nazi Germans questioning him as he didn't understand and quite frankly, didn't care.
After spotting the light he went towards it and mounted it. He moved around until he found the shaking bushes again and examined it closer....

Niklas scans the opposite bank, <I don't think that was anything> soon he looks way off to his left and sees something approaching the river. <what the....> All the men fallow his gaze, <Are those what I think they are?> Benjamin asked, he raised his Mauser and aimed as best he could at the range. <don't wast a shot, they're to far away> Dirk moved to the closes barracks to the Allie group. <Thats the Idea, hide around the corner.> Niklas fallowed Dirk and took the position closest to the corner and leaned out. He aimed and took the best shot he could at the forces approaching the river (John), there was little to no chance he would hit. OOC: sorry I can't upload maps for some reason but for a better description on John's map, all my men are around the corner of the second closest horizontal building to John
