Not sure this belongs here, but, here goes. I've been wondering, what country did Germany invade first? Was it Austria, with the Anschluss, or Poland, with the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, or some other country? What do you think, and why?

I think Czechoslovakia was first... but it could have been Austria. Poland was in 1939, and Czech and Austria were before that.

Actually I went blank for a moment there...
I'd say Walter's right.

I actually have a book with this written down. The Life and Death of Adolf Hitler, I'll check and state what it says.
I'm going to go with Germany being the first country to be taken. I go with this for three reasons.
1) Well that is where it all started isn't it? 2) Hitler had been on sight for a revolution, I'm pretty sure he almost succeeded, but he got arrested when it failed (he started writing Mien Kampf in jail) 3)After gaining rule over Germany, he moved his troops into the unoccupied areas that where supposed to be removed from German power after the first world war (not talking about other countries, talking about land inside Germany).
Now, first country -outside- Germany...well he did help Spain with a revolt...but thats not conquering. Alright, it's Austria with a no shots fired victory. Then Czechoslovakia with the actual battles.
