Daniel realized at this point that he and his men were taking heavy fire, and that a lot of it was coming from the building. He surveyed the battlefield quickly; One man in a foxhole to his southwest, one behind a tree directly to his west, multiple enemies in and around the house, and possibly one or two still left in the trench. He looked at his own man who was wounded by a potato masher, and saw the other trooper taking care of his comrade. Daniel reacted quickly when he saw his westward most man in the foxhole take fire, and a grenade land in front of him. "GET DOWN!!!," Daniel screamed to him. He saw the trooper obey and curl up below his line of vision. Right after he turned behind him and ordered the man east of him behind a tree to fix the enemy in the foxhole. Quickly after that order he heard the bang of the grenade and wanted to see what happened but needed to keep his commands going. He turned to the man next to him and said to fire at the man directly west of them, and simultaneously hoping to suppress the enemies outside the building. Daniel himself pulled the pin on his smoke grenade and threw it as hard as he could towards the east wall of the building. He hoped to obscure their line of sight and therefore take pressure off of his man in the foxhole. OCC:please excuse my bad drawing on the map but that is the best I could do. The Grey dot is the smoke grenade, and the black lines try to tell who is shooting at what

-Allied infantrymen in fox hole is stabbed by sniper Erwin Rommel, who was in the same fox hole. After a grenade exploded, no serious damage was taken.
-Due to Allied fire and German fire, the two sides are suppressed.
-Allied rifle fire hit one of the men next to Heydrich. The shot penetrated his shoulder. If he is not evacuated he will die.
-Allied infantry has moved up and captured Erwin Rommel successfully. They have moved back to an area with good cover to hold the prisoner. (Daniel is the Captor since his units captured).
-German firepower towards Wiktor tore threw the trees hitting one of the men next to Wiktor in the thigh. The bullet penetrated an artery in the thigh, if he is not taken care of and evacuated, he will die within the next post by bleeding out. If first aid is given, he will have two more rounds.
-The smoke grenade gave cover the group after capturing Rommel.
-The two Allied wounded soldiers have both died.
Next Post is Wiktor Boguslaw unless Erwin Rommel can post.

Bullets flew around Wiktor as the enemy retaliated to the attack by Wiktor’s men. One such bullet lodged itself in the thigh of a nearby allied soldier. The soldier cried out in pain as he fell to the ground bleeding heavily. Wiktor ordered the soldier next to him to take care of the wounded soldier, but keeping out of the line of fire. Wiktor was horribly worried about his own men, as well as how Daniel was handling the current situation. Things did not look good for the Allies. The soldiers around him kept firing at the enemy, but to no avail. The enemy was as Wiktor good see, still in a strong position of power on the battlefield.
Finally Wiktor made a strong decision, he knew he might regret it, and it was not a decision his superiors would few kindly. Wiktor turned around to face the men behind him and grabbed their attention. “Men, this battle is hopeless, we are now initiating a full tactical retreat. You two, grab that wounded soldier, the rest of you provided covering fire while we get the hell out of here!” Wiktor and the soldiers began backing up while continuing to fire suppressive fire at the enemy. At the same time two soldiers lifted up the wounded man, carefully as not to inflict more harm, and followed Wiktor. Wiktor followed his men as they ran across the forest floor as fast as they could. The whole time Wiktor was deciding how to make contact with Daniel.
Finally Wiktor and his men burst through the tree line and in front of them was the original house that they were in. Wiktor spotted an Allied soldier to the right of him in a fox hole. Wiktor motioned for his men to get behind the house to wait for further orders. He ran across the area in front of the house, keeping low to avoid gun fire, and making in a straight line toward the Allied soldier. He got to the fox hole and jumped inside, startling the soldier who realized that it was his commander. “Sir, what are you doing here?” “Soldier do you know the location of your officer, Sergeant Steinert?” “Yes sir, he’s over there in the trees directing the rest of our group, I was sent here to care for this soldier here, but I’m afraid he’s dead.” “Thank you soldier, can you run to him and tell him to rendezvous with me and my men behind the house over there, we are retreating from this battle.” “Roger that sir, I’ll tell him.”
The soldier ran over to a thicket of trees, disappearing behind the foliage. Wiktor ran back to his men waiting behind the house for him. “Alright men, were waiting for Sergeant Steinert, he should be here any moment if he isn’t held down by the Germans.” After a minute or so, Wiktor did indeed spot Daniel and his men running through the woods toward his position. With them he noticed was a German soldier, obviously a captured sniper, as he wore a guile suit. Wiktor ran up to greet him as Daniel’s men and the prisoner joined his. “Daniel, I am calling a tactical retreat, there is no hope left in this battle for us. I want you to retrieve your satchel charge igniter and get ready to blow it. I’m afraid the enemy will follow us, and this explosion should distract them allowing us to escape. Also, take that German captive with us; we may get some useful Intel from him, making this battle somewhat useful.”
Daniel ran inside the house, coming out a few minutes later holding the blast box between his arms. He followed Wiktor behind the house, making sure the entire soldier group was there to avoid the shrapnel from the explosion. Wiktor waited one second; two second, then motioned for Daniel to hit the charge. All of a sudden the ground rocked as the charges exploded, making chaos break lose. As soon as the shrapnel lessened he motioned his men to make a run for the allied HQ. The entire group ran until they could not see the house or any German unit. They continued to march back to base, or the general area of it.
An hour later the weary group stumbled into the military compound that they were stationed in. Wiktor sent the soldiers to their barracks to relax and calm down after the fight. He also ordered the two men carrying the wounded soldier to take him to the compounds hospital, hoping that there was still a chance of saving him. Finally he sent one soldier with the German prisoner to the compounds prison. Wiktor then motioned for Daniel to follow him across the dusty road as he made his way across to the stone building that was the bases HQ. Wiktor knew that his superior officers would not like how the battle was lost, or the three casualties that happened. However, Wiktor was not disappointed in his choice. If he had continued fighting, he would run the risk of having more Allied soldiers die or having either him or Daniel, or possibly both of them, captured.
Wiktor opened the door and walked in, as the HQ’s personal glanced up in surprise at the two blood and dust coated soldiers walked in. Wiktor immediately walked down the hall, entering the office of the bases commander. Wiktor saluted as the commander stood up, then motioned for Wiktor and Daniel to sit down. “Sir, we have returned from an engagement of a German unit down in the woods near the farmhouse.” “I see lieutenant, and the results?” “I had to call a retreat, we lost three men, and the rest of us were in a bad shape.” “Alright lieutenant, hopefully you made a good decision.” Wiktor again saluted his commander and then walked out of the office, continuing out of the HQ. Wiktor turned toward Daniel as they stood outside of the HQ.
“Daniel, I am honored to have fought by your side this battle. You are a good soldier and a good leader of your men. This might of have been a defeat for us, but I’ll make sure the next battle is not so. I look forward to fighting with you again.” Wiktor smiled as the two men shook hands, and then went their separate ways. Daniel would probably return to his barracks, but Wiktor walked over to the officer’s quarters. He reached them within the minute, and opening his door, walked into his familiar room. Wiktor sat down at his desk, not even caring to get out of his battle uniform. He propped his gun onto the side of his desk and threw his helmet onto this bed. He grabbed a pencil off the table and a sheet of paper and began writing the battle report that his commander would be expecting tomorrow.
Wiktor went over the battle in his mind over and over again, analyzing it in every way. He realized his bad decision, and noticed the good ones. He thought about the German commander’s reaction, and how well they were. Wiktor glanced out his window as he made a solemn promise to himself. The next battle that he had, wherever it was, against whatever enemy, he would do better as a commander. He would insure minimal casualties on his side, but make many on the enemy’s. But for now, Wiktor took it easy. He dropped his pencil as he finished his report, and then folded it up in an envelope. He would drop of the report the next morning, as soon as he had finished his daily routine. Wiktor then went and sat down upon his bed, and quickly fell asleep from the weariness of the battle.

The shit was really hitting the fan now, both he and Wiktor were under heavy fire. "When is that smoke going to kick in?" thought Daniel. he saw the man he sent to the foxhole jump in, but also heard a scream but no gunshot. Daniel turned to the man next to him and said "cover me, I'm going to check out that foxhole." Daniel crawled all the way to the foxhole to see the sniper and his man wrestling in the foxhole. He also saw blood coming from his own man.
Daniel acted quickly sliding in the foxhole and knocking the sniper senseless with a strong hit from his shovel. Immediately Daniel bound his hands with rope and put a bandanna over his mouth. He noticed how much blood he had on his uniform and remembered that the other man had been wounded. "You okay trooper?" "sure, fine, the bastard stabbed me." "Do you think you can move?" "I'll run in this kind of fire." Daniel saw the smoke build and said you take this kraut and fall back to the house, I'll be right behind you. With that he saw the soldier take the sniper up and out of the foxhole. He emptied his clip towards the house and ran back to the trees where he was met by the man he sent to tend to the wounded man. "Sir, Wiktor says to fall back to the house." "Alright, everyone run back to the house."
The four men ran like hell to behind the house where they were met by Wikor and his men. Wikor told Daniel to blow the charges to create a distraction, so they could make a break for it. "With pleasure sir" said Daniel. Moments later Daniel was outside next to wiktor with his "boom box." "Fire in the hole!!!" He turned the handle and an earthquake seamed to erupt. After most of the shrapnel was already in the ground, he, his men, and Wikor ran until they couldn't see the house any more.
Back at Allied HQ Daniel turned over their sniper prisoner to the Brass, and immediately he and Wikor reported to the HQ personal. they both walked in and saluted to the base commander. He saw a somewhat surprised look on his face when they walked in and quickly said "take a seat." Daniel listened in on the conversation. “Sir, we have returned from an engagement of a German unit down in the woods near the farmhouse.” “I see lieutenant, and the results?” “I had to call a retreat, we lost three men, and the rest of us were in a bad shape.” “Alright lieutenant, hopefully you made a good decision.” Once again he and Wiktor saluted and made their leave.
Once outside in the open air Wiktor said to him “Daniel, I am honored to have fought by your side this battle. You are a good soldier and a good leader of your men. This might of have been a defeat for us, but I’ll make sure the next battle is not so. I look forward to fighting with you again.” Daniel responded "I to am honored to have fought with you today. You are a hell of an officer and a great leader. I hope we meet again another day." with that the two went their separate ways.
Daniel saw Wiktor walk into the officers quarters and he walked back to his barracks. He joined his men in changing out of battle dress and washing blood off of their faces. "Damn, three good men gone today and not one kraut. They weren't even old enough to buy a beer." He took a pencil and a piece of paper out so he could try and draw out what happened, so he could prevent so many deaths the next time." During his writing a private cam in and said "Corporal Steinert" "That's me" He said. "you got mail." Daniel looked up surprised "his family couldn't read or write in English so they certainly couldn't address it" He took the envelope and saw that it was from Division. Daniel slowly undid the envelope and read the contents. A transfer to the 1st armored Division. He wanted to try and tell Wiktor and his men but he was too tired. He put away the paper, the letter, and quickly dozed off.

Even when everything was flying by, the bullets, the shouts. It seemed so slow to Heydrich, in fact he could see everything folding out. He wasn't the most violent person on the earth and so far up to now has not unleashed on single bullet. He held his gun with his finger on the trigger like it was a detonator. He watched as his men acted without his general orders but he was fine with it. Following instincts was a good feature in battle, listening to the commander alone won't do any good. He looked as he watched the two men try to counter the person he saw in the foxhole earlier. Heydrich glanced back through the window into the house and saw his men were doing good and suppressing the other allied group well. At least well enough so that they weren’t overrunning them. He turned his head and looked down his sights again, gripping his MP44 tighter. He felt like he was going to drop the gun any second. Although he was a soldier he was never a fighter he was more of a strategist. Heydrich glanced quickly as he heard a grenade explode and a shout. Is that Erwin? Did we just kill one of our own? He slowly wanted to move forward but hesitated.
While he was concentrating he heard a sickening shout. The man next to him fell down shaking the ground near Heydrich. This time he didn’t hesitate he could handle a situation like this. He grabbed the man up and put his arm on his shoulder and immediately realized that he had pulled the arm that was shot. Cursing Heydrich went to the other side and grabbed the unwounded arm and dragged him into the house. The soldier explained where the bullet hit and Heydrich examined it. He knew he had to be evacuated. And he looked at the soldiers at the window and remembered that one of them had actually broken their legs. He asked the second man on the window looking south to go prepare an evacuation for the injured. Heydrich took his place near the man with the broken leg and aimed down his sights and shot a couple of shots, dodging occasionally imaginary bullet just in case. Better safe than sorry. He actually spotted a man and shot a couple of rounds. He went down to reload and he came back up determined and scanned while looking down his sights. Nothing. He looked at the man next to him to see his confusion too. He patted the man on the back and got up and walked back out of the back door.
He watched as the man injured in the shoulder was getting prepared to evacuate. As that happened, he noticed something. There was smoke emerging. He thought his soldiers were handling the situation. Swearing he moved to the spot he was before. “Soldiers retreat! Regroup back at the house! Don’t lose yourself in the smoke.” He shouted a couple of times each sentence and ran back in and did a head count. Good. Nobody else was missing. He said quickly, “Any of you found the sniper?” He saw the sea of soldiers shaking their heads. He watched as the smoke calmed down and prepared his men to rush to them now.
They all watched as the three soldiers evacuated. The man injured in the leg was helped by the man wounded in the shoulder, who got a temporary solution to fix the blood, and one of the fully fit soldiers to guide them. Heydrich knew there would be an outpost near here and axis patrols were bound to be crawling after maybe a hour. Heydrich gathered the six men he had left at the back of the building. The men assaulting the south were also assembled this time. He ordered everyone to check their weapons and they all ran in the direction of where the smoke came from. To his surprise nobody was there, although they moved cautiously spreading themselves out and working out slowly. Nothing. It worried Heydrich a little that he hasn’t met Erwin yet. Perhaps he has fallen in battle or retreated himself. Heydrich shrugged the thought of that and concentrated at what was at hand. They regrouped at the middle still everybody looking around to see if they found anything. Heydrich sighed as he observed the surroundings. The enemy just disappeared. More than a second later off that there was an explosion. It almost blew away the man standing closest to a building down south but he stood still s other soldiers helped him up. “Soldiers! Hide!” Heydrich mumbled as they all scattered behind the trees. They waited for several minutes. None of them spotted any activity after that. Heydrich called them back together and proceeded to the house.
They all scattered around scavenging for any clues. Heydrich and his corporal came across a body in a foxhole. “Check him,” Muttered Heydrich as he pointed to the body. The corporal scanned him and noticed his weapon and tossed it to the commander. Heydrich looked at the weapon, cocking it back and shot in the air. All his men crowded around him at that. American pigs. He had knowledge about American firearms as his father use to collect weapons from all around the world. Although it was vastly different he could piece it together. “These American dogs are advancing again. Looks like they retreated for now. They will strike again, harder next time. We need to be prepared. Men gather what you have, scavenge if you need to. We need to rest for now and warn HQ.” He said crouching over the dead body. It caused a lot of babble among the soldiers as they left. Heydrich knew he had won, but inside he had not. Even the cheers of the soldiers didn’t comfort him. He needed to perform better next time. This was no win. The sniper was missing. He played the scenario in his mind as he and his troops marched back to the north to regroup and rest.

All I am going to do is distribute CP and other endings.
Wiktor Boguslaw-15 CP- Commanding the Allied forces and despite taking many casualties, you tried to counter-attack. When you saw defeat was imminent, you ordered a retreat to save as many lives as possible. Also having nice size posts.
Daniel Steinert-12 CP- Having decent posts and you were able to capture a member of the opposite force.
Heydrich Šechtl-18 CP- Lead the Axis forces to victory while taking minimal casualties. Nice post length.
Erwin Rommel-8CP- Killed 3 Allied soldiers until he was finally captured. The low amount of CP is from becoming inactive in the middle of the battle.
Alright now as seeing that Erwin I feel as though Daniel should be rewarded in some way. I believe that the CP that Erwin should have won from the battle should be given to Dan, if this seems wrong then let me know. I also believe that once you are captured all of your equipment goes to the member who captured you, this would leave Erwin starting from the standard kit again. I believe if I can do this, Dan will get 8 more CP and will gain all of Erwin's equipment to do with as he pleases. If think you think of another thing then tell me. Also, Erwin is a POW of the 1st Armoured Division. If the Axis would like him back, you must either pay for him to be released in a payment that we as a division come up with, or have him in another battle where he is rescued.
Whew, now to move on. Due to the 1st Armoured's policy of 1/4 of its members winnings would go to the divisional fund, Wiktor is losing 3 CP, and Dan is losing 3 CP. Also, 1st Armoured members should make their after-action reports.
Any questions, let me know.
